I was too harsh in my previous review. Google Suggestions do take ton of bandwidth and it is not fault of this extension. Also it is possible to switch to Bing Suggestions, but you have to do it manually in about:config . So lets see how it goes from now on.This review is for a previous version of the add-on (2.4.1-signed.1-signed).

There is absolutely no way to switch from Google to Bing in suggestions. Even if you changed it in about:config, it would still contact google dozens of times for one suggestion. If you do not like your every step to be tracked by Google, this extension is not for you.
Also, a bandwidth hog. It downloaded at least 1 MB for one suggestion. This is wastefull to say the least.
Wrong settings / explanation about bandwidth
Hi Faktor12, it seems you clicked on CyberSearch options and then changed the "search service" from Google to Bing - but please note, that this change doesnt take any effect to your search behavior, as you probably changed the search service in your "Keywords tab"! -> to change the search engine from Google to Bing just click on "CyberSearch Options" (in Tools) -> then click on the tab Behavior -> then change the default search engine from Google to Bing and click OK. After that change all your search requests will 100% send through & answered from Bing - there are 0% requests to Google after you changed that option in that way.
Also, the amount of traffic downloaded to deliver suggestions from Google is based on the fact, that with each keystroke your browser will ask Google for a result - then Google is answering your search query with a result page - to minimize Googles answers we request the data in mobile json format for you - but that answer is still about 150kb / per request - it's exactly the same amout of bandwidth you would produce, if you use Google directly with Google Instant enabled, sorry!
We hope you still could enjoy CyberSearch in future, thanks for your feedback.

Long awaited update and disappointing one. Where previous "Cybersearch" gave hints mixed with history results, this version removes this balance completely. So either you get History/Bookmarks hits or all 10 or up Bing search results. Suddenly I do not miss this extension anymore. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (220.127.116.11-signed.1-signed).

Do not try to use it with Firefox 4+ . It will disable suggestions in location bar. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (18.104.22.168-signed.1-signed).

It was almost perfect extention. Now, I am getting by with FastestFox. Not as good as Cybersearch, but something close to it nonetheless. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (22.214.171.124-signed.1-signed).
