Best Firefox Theme, superior then Google Chrome skin. Needs to be FF 4.x compatible (the only disadvantage).

I'm sorry to hear that this theme is no longer being developed. It's such an excellent theme. I think I'll miss it.

If am not mistaken, this Theme has the highest rating among all other themes on AMO and it deserves it as for not just looking good but functioning well too. Props to Tyler for giving this to us.

However there were three minor things I have picked up that I believe if fixed could make Chromifox quite possible perfect.

1 Sync Preference Pane - Drop down arrow beside Manage Account is missing.

2 Diigo Extension - If bookmark button is dragged from the toolbar to the bookmarks bar, and a page which is bookmarked is visited, the button turns red with some ui changes, but placing the cursor on the button at this state re-sizes the bookmark bar.

3 New Tab - Opening a new tab does not always render a smooth animation transition.

awesome theme Rated 5 out of 5 stars

I usually tend to stick to one theme for a prolonged period of time and I'm definitely going to be staying on this one. Clean and polished with no glitches (that i have yet noticed). I have one little itch - I'm accustomed to themes with very small text in the tab bar and bookmarks bar (I used to use abaca) so I'd prefer some slightly smaller text up there.
And one side question: what issues tend to arise when using this theme with tab mix plus? I use that add-on so I'm curious to know what sort of conflicts, if any, to expect.

Very good job of interpreting an excellent minimalistic UI, with Tiny Menu extension makes an amazing transformation. Functional and bug-free (so far :-). Works with the extensions that I use mostly (like Firebug and other dev tools). No complains.

This is a great theme: clean & crisp. Best I've seen. Unfortunately, it has one functional problem: it does not respect the config setting "browser.tabs.closeButtons". I often have dozens of tabs open, and it is very easy to close a tab by mistake when attempting to switch to it. That is why I have set "closeButtons" to zero, which means "show the close button only on the current tab". This theme ignores this setting, and includes a close button on every tab. If this one issue is fixed, this will be the ideal theme (for me, at least).

Chromifox Basic must have close buttons on every tab because it uses a stretched background image across the width of each tab, and Firefox has a visual glitch that will sometimes result in the background image not filling up all the way. There might be 1 pixel across where it appears blank and makes the tabs appear disconnected. So the tab close button must appear to "cover up" Firefox's visual glitch. Believe me, this is not an oversight on my part, I've put a lot of thought into it.

P.S. If you are thinking "other themes don't have this problem", well other themes probably don't use a stretched background image for the tabs. The "overlapping" tabs in Chromifox Basic (that Chrome-style effect) took a lot of CSS hackery that is simply not required with regular tabs that don't overlap.
