One Of The Greatest Add-ons Out There Rated 5 out of 5 stars

The only ones who complain are guys like Ry6 who sites that have more ads than useful content and who's sites do very little business.

Also I say we let those sites block Adblock Plus users because not a single Adblock Plus user will uninstall Adblock Plus to go to ad driven sites who do very little business. It will only hurt the site owners in the end and cost them millions of potential visitors in the process.

Big companies and huge sites never ever block Adblock Plus users. Youtube and Google don't. Microsoft and Apple don't. ESPN and CBS don't. Facebook and MySpace don't. Softpedia and Download.com don't. Washington Post and The New York Times don't.

So let the small sites who load their sites with ads, block Adblock Plus users. Let them put themselves out of business. Then come back here to complain that it was Adblock Plus that put them out of business instead of taking blame themselves for sacrificing business to block certain people.

Outstanding--just quietly and without hassle does what it's supposed to do, couldn't ask for more.

Context menu gone Rated 4 out of 5 stars

This tool is FUN-TAS-TIC. No, that's no spelling error =) It's deliberately spelled that way because internet browsing is fun again. I do see the point that some sites do have to finance themselves somehow, but please not with such a surge of pop-ups coming up in the very same second.
However, there's some rain after the sunshine. With 3.6a2 builds, the context menu seems to be disfunctional from now on. I mean the internal context menu when you select CTRL-SHIFT-V, there was a possibility in the address column to right-click the mouse, this doesn't work anymore.

Where are the "Site block" option (from "adblock" extension)?
Without this option, if I type one of the blocked addresses, the firefox display the site correctly, when I hoped that address would be blocked:(

Why?

Why are you typing in addresses that you don't want to visit? Anyway: https://adblockplus.org/en/faq_features#siteblock

I'm having a problem with this as well. The ads are hidden away so no problem there, but on some sites when I reload a page, some images that are supposed to be there are not, or are missing partially. Sometimes, when I hoover over them they return (usually only for clickable links). Anyone know how to solve this?

Since Firefox released 3.5.2, I have been unable to send emails from my Yahoo account. The problem appears to be Adblock, no problems when it is disabled. Any ideas on this?

I've downloaded this add-on for Firefox but I can still see commercials, take THIS website for example http://www.deviantart.com/

Version 1.0.2 works fine for me. However, the new version, version 1.1, on a macintosh running firefox 3.0.13, messes up images on websites. Specifically, images will load sometimes, and not load other times. Hitting reload will cause images to disappear, but hitting shift-reload to force a full reload will bring the images back. The occurs even if I click the stop sign in the upper right hand corner and choose to disable adblock. The only thing that fixes it is to completely deactivate the add-on in the tools->addons menu.

This has happened on two different computers running different combinations of add-ons. I've disabled all addons except adblock and still seen the effect.

O, how often in the past I have said "Bloody Ads!!" (or worse...). Now, thanks to Adblock Plus, I'm no longer bombarded with all those mindless advertisments for products I neither use or want....and I'm swearing a lot less, too! Thank You.

Not neatly as good as the original Adblock. It doesn't provide tabs for flash, so it's next to impossible to block flash ads. Good, when it works, but overall, still quite broken.

Continues to be brilliant. Part of the reason why Firefox beats all other browsers hands down.
