Pretty good Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Could only be better if there would be an option to make different choices (for example open in background with right-click marker and copying links when using the left-click marker)

Edit: done: https://github.com/cpriest/SnapLinksPlus/issues/33

This review is for a previous version of the add-on (2.4.0).

Thanks... If you could put that in the issue tracker as a feature request I can put that on the time line for future features.

See a lot of frustration and people angrily giving bad reviews because the developer did not update this to be compatible with latest firefox version?

That is exactly how good this plug in is.

It is a simple functionality but it improve your browsing experience to the point that once you cannot use it any more people become desperate and resort to whining here.

Yaaay. Updated from 20beta to 27beta yesterday and was afraid I will have to use other add-ons. version 2.3.4b12 from github works on 27beta. I wish I could send him some money.

Firefox 26.0 ??? Rated 3 out of 5 stars

Three Stars instead of the otherwise Five Stars. Here's why . . .WHY is there always a compatibility problem with Snap Links whenever a new version of Firefox launches? This is SO annoying. EVERYTIME my Firefox upgrades to a newer version I have to wait for a newer Snap Links >_<

PS - No other add-ons that I have been using suffers from such compatibility problems.

My apologies about this, prior to FF 25 release I was not aware of issues in FF 25+. It was a rather simple fix really but there was a major change already in progress that prevented me from releasing a small version release to fix FF25-28. The current beta (just released today) is available here: https://github.com/cpriest/SnapLinksPlus/raw/master/dist/snaplinksplus-2.3.4b12.xpi (Release Candidate 1)

Changes listed: Update maxVersion to 28.*, fixed issue with outline rect not showing ……on another tab sometimes. Was related to CalcTimer not being cleared on mouse up.

Loads links backwards. Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Snap Links Plus is excellent, and necessary when doing research.

However, it loads links backwards. The link at the bottom is loaded in a tab next to the original page. The link at the top is loaded at the end of the list of tabs.

I don't see any way to configure Snap Links Plus to load tabs in the selected order.

Thanks for the 5 star rating, could you submit the bug report to our ticketing system?

No longer works Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Snap Links Plus no longer works with FireFox 25.0I tried it on several sites and no go.I uninstalled it, cleared everything then tried reinstalling it and it still will not work.Too bad because it was really a great add-on.I should add that both Snap Links Plus and Snap Links Plus beta stopped working for me.

Ok..another edit:

I re-installed Snap Links Plus 2.3.4b3 again and now it works.
STILL..this shouldn't be happening when FF is updated so I changed my rating to a five star again only because it works now. :)

Unfortunately I'm a bit behind the ball on getting a release out that works with the new Firefox, for the time being the current beta 4 works with FF 25+, which can be gotten here:

Very nice but something missing... Rated 4 out of 5 stars

Hence multi links will not get any suppurt i switched back to snap links plus. So far it do what it should do, but it would be nice if you could implement some features to make it more user-friendly.

For example an option to set middle/wheel mouse button for opening links and right click for copying urls so you can use both. This will highly speed working with snap links plus up or you give us the possibility to disable options in the selection context menu which we dont need.
A SLP button in the addonbar would be also nice so that we could set it on or off like we need it.

Also i found maybe two bugs, i cant use the feature to drag the selection area with alt key or is it disabled? When e.g. i go to https://groups.google.com/forum/#!forum/snaplinksplus and try to copy some links, it will not copy with SLP with a right click instead it will normally left click one link although i disabled everything in the options. Thanks for your efforts in advance.

Hey deggy, just reviewing these reviews. The alt feature you mention hasn't been functional ever since I took over the project and re-wrote it. The code is actually still there, just commented out as nobody ever mentioned missing it. If you'd like to request some features, please head on over to the issues board on github and put in the feature requests. https://github.com/cpriest/SnapLinksPlus/issues?state=open

Thank you for this update (2.3.b22) which fixes malfunctions appeared with the the last versions of Firefox.
It was very difficult to work without this great extension.

exactly what i need Rated 5 out of 5 stars

This works exactly how i wanted a product like this to work except for 1 feature. I wish there was ( and correct me if i am wrong) an option to open all links on a page.

But i don't have any issues on Firefox 20, will see after i moved to 22 recently but i have never had an issue.
