Works great Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Excellent extension!
Use this if you want separate, FF2-style back/forward menus in FF3.
I have encountered no problems with this extension after weeks of use.

Thanks Gulp21. I was very dissapointed to see the new FF3 buttons, yeah artistic but limited functionality. I spend very little time gazing at the esthetically pleasing blended curved buttons. I just want them to work when I click them, to help me get to the desired location, and now, thanks to you they do.

It is a little sad that the FF designers decided to arbitrarily remove functionality, but it is a tribute to the whole system that the functionality can be added back in by the community.

Thanks again!

Worth digging for this Rated 4 out of 5 stars

It took time to find but it was worth it.

Judging from the support forum, many people are looking for ways to have separate forward and backward drop down lists. This restores that familiar, intuitive functionality.

On the downside, it's hard to find that feature. It wasn't until I read the reviews that I learned I had to manually drag the buttons in (four of them: back, forward, and corresponding dropdowns), as well as removing the previous unified button. Also, the result has too much space between the buttons and dropdowns, but it's still an improvement over the default.

Many thanks, and I hope to see change from experimental to normal soon.

You forgot the bookmarks Rated 4 out of 5 stars

Nice! I'd like to see it implemented in the 'Manage Bookmarks' menu too though...

Worked with Linux Rated 5 out of 5 stars

I'm running FF3 in Xubuntu. I right clicked, saved as... and manually installed. Worked great.

Awesome, please do continue working on this! It's highly appreciated. support for non-windows (linux) would be great.

No more ugly back button Rated 4 out of 5 stars

Thanks a lot! There are some new features in FF3 I didn't like first, like the Smart Location Bar but I'm getting used to it. But even after a while I can't get used to that ugly big back button, it's like it hits me each time I use it. So thanks for the workaround. But I would have some suggestions: The new "rounded square" forward (right) button is pretty cool, could you make an option to chose between round and square shapes? And the new Reload, Stop and Home buttons are pretty ugly too, could you add replacements for those buttons too? (Firefox design team missed the point here, FF2 navigation buttons were far prettier).

Back - Forward Buttons with individual History Dropdowns Rated 5 out of 5 stars

NoUn Buttons offers separate Back / Forward buttons with arrow dropdown history for each. You must look for the buttons and little 3 character (stacked) icons in right click toolbar 'Customize' window. The buttons are there other reviewers have missed them. This extension allows you to put the buttons and their individual history dropdowns back just the way they were in Firefox 2. Perfect Addon!

Looks Good but I was Hoping for Better Functionality Rated 3 out of 5 stars

I was really excited for this extension because I hate the joined back/forward buttons in FF3, both in appearance and functionality. This extension fixed the ugliness of the standard FF3 back/forward buttons but I was very much hoping for different histories or the back and the forward buttons. I will definately give this 5 stars if a future version adds this improvement.

Excellent, BUT... Rated 4 out of 5 stars

I had an extension like this ages ago and lost it in a fried HDD, so I was really glad to come across this one.

I customise my location/nav/bookmarks bars so that everything is one line with the tab bar underneath, by getting rid of the search bar and using tinymenu and the only button I actually ever use is the back button, so thanks!

Matt Perkins, you are wrong, this is a useful extension, because I'm finding it useful. Moreover, it works with other themes too...

My only gripe is the lack of the dropdown list.

Cool!

But the new back/forward buttons should be like the old FF2 buttons (with built-in dropdown menus). Top marks for functionality! Not quite as many for aesthetics!

I really like 0.5. It makes switching from older versions much easier for me. Good job!

Looks great! Rated 4 out of 5 stars

I don't really care about the two buttons being joined together, but I do care about the crappy design they have. You solved this problem by making some nice icons for back and forth (I use small icons, so there pretty plain).

So if you don't like the default back and forth buttons, try these :)

Useless Rated 1 out of 5 stars

useless add-on

1) the unified button gives whats a dull theme some kick

2) 90% of people who use firefox dont use the main theme anyways. thus making this add-on useless.

make add-ons a lot of ppl will use not something very few will use.
