Please update Rated 5 out of 5 stars

This is a life-saving add-on which makes firefox usable but it does not work in 4.0 and needs an update. Just editing the RDF file does not help - the buttons never show up in the "customize" pane.

Doesn't work in Firefox 3.5.2 or 3.5.16; the buttons don't show up in the "customize toolbar" list and no amount of theme changing in NoUn Buttons' settings changes that. Bugged! Update: I had to add the Toolbar Buttons extension to see the NoUn toolbar buttons. Lame...

This add on works very well. I wish there was an option to combine the back/forward and the context menus like in Safari or Chrome.

FOR EVERYONE HAVING TROUBLE WITH THE ICONS NOT SHOWING:
Tools>Add-ons>NounButtons>Options>Use Icons of>* Switch this item around until you are happy with the results

Simply does not work. Buttons don't show up at all. Trying to get it to work screwed up my whole menubar and now I have to fix it

Glad to have this addon but it seems to have broken in the latest minefield. The drop down menus don't recognize when you go back or forward, if you've gone to ten sites they'll always show the same number regardless of which site you revisit.

Maybe it was the transition to FF3.6, I don't know. If that's the problem, I apologize. But as the matter stands, this is the buggiest add-on I have ever tried

This is a great addon, I cant stand the merged menus in Firefox. You need to make one for the stop/refresh buttons which are merged in Firefox 3.7

Need to be able to separate arrows from buttons Rated 3 out of 5 stars

What happened to being able to separate the drop-down menu from the buttons? I had been using that for months before the feature vanished.

Feature available

Add the menus by using View -> Toolbars -> Customize.

not good with all skins Rated 2 out of 5 stars

i tried this before and it seemed to work, then i changed my skin and the back and foward buttons were firtst broken combined images of all the nav-bar buttons., then they vanished COMPLETLY. even when i ndisaled NoUn they were gone. it wasnt until i uninstalled NoUn that they finally reapeared, looking the way they were suposed to.

Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! The back/forward buttons themselves were okay, but the unified drop-down history menu was driving me crazy. Why would anyone think that was a good idea? If anything, it should be optional. Now, with NoUn Buttons, it is!
There were some problems at the initial install, so I'm not giving 5 stars. After a few minutes, for no apparent reason, it started working perfectly with Noia 2.0 eXtreme.

I still think this is a great product. I did notice that one must try a different theme/icon set sometimes, as mentioned in the addon directions. But mine worked good with the theme I was using.

It is a little confusing sometimes to get the buttons customized in the right positions. It would be a huge improvement to give some preset choices in the options area, or perhaps a way to drag them around in the options.

And of course, it would be nice to see the web site working.

Thanks again. Keep up the good work.

Does not work. Back and forward buttons are still merged.

*note the reason for needing them apart is so that you can click stop after hitting back to prevent javascript hijacking you back to the current page. I want stop in between them like default fire fox 2. separate buttons, separate minimenus, and completely movable from each other as independent items.

Good idea Rated 3 out of 5 stars

This is a great idea for something that should have been built into the program to begin with. Except that it actually was built in originallly and someone decided to make the program less intuitive, rather than more, by removing it. Congradulations to Gulp21 for bring it back!

Two little things need to be perfected. One is the fact that the home page is no longer available. The other is that what appears to be called the "Fx 2 style" seems to be missing.

The unified history button is the worst part of the original program downgrade by Mozilla, and getting the separate buttons back is the most important part of this add-on, IMHO.

The author is certainly on the right track and deserves our support.

Good idea, improvable: Rated 4 out of 5 stars

The idea is good unfortunatly it still breaks depending on the skin. If its just for the purpose of displaying non-unified histories a slightly more lazy approach might wield better results: Simply clip the original Unified button on the right hand side and then only supply the drop down markers. An option for the amount of pixels to clip and voila full theme compatibility.

Great addon. Smaller distances would be most appreciated as Spunker said.

This is a great addon for Firefox. What was Mozilla thinking by merging the back and forward.
The only issue is that version 1.1.0 makes the distance between all the buttons larger. I liked the distance used in version 1.0.1. I like how the arrows click in now, but that distance issue is making me stay with version 1.0.1 until its fixed.
