My Reviews

Quick Translator

Very useful translator Rated 5 out of 5 stars

A very useful and practical application.

Once I have selected a word or phrase that will appear a small icon and when I click on it, the text is translated into the selected language. The translation will then appear at the bottom right of the browser window.

I have more than 50 languages that I can translate into my native language.

I give it five stars, as long as it's up to date.

Makes Twitter better Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Great and useful Add-on. I just have installed it today and looked on my Twitter page. I must say, I have different and BETTER Twitter layout. On the left side time of the post with small icon of the Twitter user, on the right side wider information panel (post information). I have to try it out. Five stars for your Add-on, because it looks really useful. I am using Firefox Aurora version 26 and Firefox version 24. I have installed it on Aurora.

This review is for a previous version of the add-on (1.0.2).

Image Toolbar

Does NOT work since FF 27 Rated 3 out of 5 stars

I am using Firefox Aurora version 27. Image Toolbar does NOT work anymore. It worked with version Aurora 25 and I haven't updated to newer Firefox version for few weeks.

I don't understand, why Mozilla changes with every newer versions Firefox' codes, because with every new version some Add-ons do not work. What can the makers of Add-ons for when Firefox is constantly modifying the code? This is so frustrating.

I haven't updated Firefox for few weeks and my Add-ons worked well. After I've updated MANUALLY (automatic Firefox update is not activated), some of my Add-ons do not work.

I am using Nightly Tester Tools and I have activated "Force Addon Compatibility", so Firefox can never check if my Add-ons are compatible. Firefox tells that Aero Improved theme is incompatible but I am using this theme without any errors. I should install Aurora version 25 again because I can not use Firefox without Image Toolbar...

Panic Button

Very useful add-on Rated 5 out of 5 stars

I tried Save My Ass. But had problems with it. Your add-on is great and very useful and helpful. With one click I can hide Firefox completely and I get a small window where I can restore my browser at any time.

It also "freezes" Firefox, while it's hidden, in the background (useful to save memory). But it's not good to hide Firefox when you're editing (forum) comments. After restoring, the page will be re-loaded and your work lost! But, anyway, it's better to hide secrets from your boss than that he knows what a bad boy you was! Do NOT forget to close your browser completely when you're going out!!! Otherwise, your boss will restore Firefox! Five stars for your GREAT add-on.

Navigational Sounds

Works now with Aurora 26 Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Thank you for the answer.

OK, after updated your add-on, I've downloaded a file and I could hear the sound for download, that I couldn't hear before with Nightly and Aurora. I'm using currently Aurora 26, too.

Great add-on. Five stars.

Nightly Tester Tools

tested few weeks Rated 5 out of 5 stars

OK, thank you for answering.

Like I said, I have tested your add-on for a few weeks with different add-ons and browser crashes. After first install, I had some problems but I think it was my fault because I didn't know how to use your add-on properly. I had only two times Firefox crashes (Aurora). I HAD before installed your add-on very often crashes (especially when Firefox reached 700 MB to 1,5 GB memory usage). I think that your add-on helped to make Firefox more stable?

I will use Nightly Tester Tools. I'll report if I've issues. For now, it works great. 5 stars for your add-on.

Too big fonts Rated 1 out of 5 stars

The fonts are too long and I'm using many icons within 3 tool bars. It's useless and your add-on changed my tool bar (search bar was under all bars but now on top of all tool bars). It uses too many spaces between fonts/icons.

One star. Too big fonts, too big icons.

Boox

Fonts invisible Rated 1 out of 5 stars

Too bad, after installing and restarting, I can see no fonts of my favorites (sidebar). I can see only the bookmark icons. I have added new bookmarks, but still invisible fonts. I have tried Boox's themes, but still not working.

One star for your add-on. Without seeing the fonts, it's useless. Please, fix these issues because I've used it with earlier Firefox versions and it WAS great and useful. I am using Firefox 25 (normal) and Aurora 26.

Nightly Tester Tools

Mozilla still does NOT allow... Rated 2 out of 5 stars

I've installed your add-on, deactivated compatibility check, and installed incompatible add-ons. After installing these add-ons, Firefox Aurora 26 has deactivated them. Your add-ons is, for this time, useless. Two stars.

I HATE Mozilla's strickt compatibility policy. I can no longer use my favorite add-ons because of Mozilla. I know what I'm doing when I install add-ons - I do NOT need Mozilla's protection!

Are not there any other ways to use all of the extensions, even if Mozilla disables them? For this reason I currently use Mozilla Firefox 16 and Firefox 26 Aurora. Because normal Firefox crashes constantly on websites with too many pictures and scrolling pages (like Tumblr), I use Aurora also.

Extension Options Menu

Rated 4 out of 5 stars

Very usefull extension, but..

I like it, but it does not work with Firefox version 16. After installing Firefox 16 (deinstalled version 25), Mozilla Compatibility Check deactivated it. I forgot to stop the check. I do it with all newer (17+) versions. I do NOT care about Mozilla's stubborn compatibility check.

It worked with all versions (20, 23, 24, 25). It also worked with Nightly and Aurora. Four stars for your great add-on.

Navigational Sounds

Does NOT work with Nightly/Aurora Rated 3 out of 5 stars

Does NOT work with Firefox Nightly and Aurora. I've used Nightly 25-27 and now Aurora 27. It worked with older Nightly versions.

But it works with "normal" Firefox. I like your add-on but I'm using Aurora too (because normal Firefox crashes often on endless scrolling sites like G+, FB, Tumblr).

Would you please with it for Aurora? I give your add-on three stars.I think it's Mozilla's update policy because with newer versions, most add-ons are deactivated or don't work correctly. Because of that I'm using now normal Firefox version 16 and have deactivated automatic Firefox update.

IMDb Preview

Rated 1 out of 5 stars

Does NOT work. I've tried it with all Firefox versions and it doesn't show a preview on mouve-over. It showed in earlier Firefox versions but I forgot which version it was. It WAS very useful add-on. I hope, that you'll fix it soon. One star for now.

Now, I'm using Firefox 20! My last used FF was version 25. I'll never use any newer Firefox versions, because Mozilla deactivates nearly all extensions with newer versions since FF 15 and the browser slows down my PC and "eats" always at least 400 MB up to 1,2 GB of the RAM. IMDB Preview was deactivated too; so I'll use always OLDER Firefox version to use all my loved extensions.

Old Google Image Search

byby stupid new Google search! Rated 5 out of 5 stars

GREAT ADD-ON (5 Stars)

That's it what I am looking since Google changed Image Search
into a stupid hiding all infos (no file name, no resolution, no
link to the image) in the results.

I was so frustrated because I never wanted use Google Image Search anymore.

The idea from Google was really the baddest idea ever! Everything was
hidden only the image visible. I could use old image search but the option
was on bottom and when I wanted go there I had to wait minutes long
because the next stupid endless scrolling was on my way (and browser slowdowns).

It works with Firefox version 19 with no problems because I have testet it after installation.

Google Minimalist

Rated 1 out of 5 stars

I am missing "Google Optimized" because the add-on is "down" and Firefox does NOT allow it since version 15 (I think it was since version 15).

This add-ons looks to simple - just search area and nothing?

What I want is: Can't you add an option to see Goolge images like earlear - images with the name and addresses under the image.

Damn Google! It has hidden all infos (name, hiperlink, resolution etc) and shows ONLY hundreds images on the image search window. You can change to older image search engine but you have to scroll between HUNDREDS of images till to get it! And the images loading time take minutes! After you changed to older version, next time it's there again and you MUST make the procedur again! I HATE Google's hiding policy... it hides nearly everything when it makes new version.

Sorry, but I will not install this add-on - it looks to simple! I will wait for another alternatives...

Noia 4

Rated 4 out of 5 stars

Great add-on!
I have installed today this add-on with Firefox 17 and I must say - Good job!
It has many options to make change the look of Firefox's bars, buttons, menus and so on.

Most themes have BIG horizontal icons and when I add two or more sidebars the screen of browser window looks smaller. But with this add-on I can make the icons smaller so the add-on icons on my sidebars are smaller and look better.

I give it 4 of 5 stars.

W3v8 for Firefox

Rated 5 out of 5 stars

I am waiting since ~one year to use it, but Firefox does not allow to use (because the author didn't do anything to make it compatible with newer browser versions).

WHEN is time to use it?
It was awesome theme...

Adblock Plus

Rated 5 out of 5 stars

GREAT add-on and I can not live without this two: Firefox and Ablock Plus.

I am using Firefox with this addd-on and I will never use Firefox without advertisement blockers like AddBlockPlus. Firefox is the BEST browser and there are thousands of free add-ons to make it better.

Go to hell - Microsoft Internet Explorer and Google Chrome!

Adblock Plus

Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Very useful add-on because I can surf websites without erotic, pornographic, disgusting advertisements or other things like those. I am using it since ~ 5 years. I do not need any other ad-blocker!

Save Your Facebook Content

Limited usage! Rated 1 out of 5 stars

Limited for maximum 100 and it's NOT for free!
Otherwise the add-on is (when you pay!) useful for Facebook users.
