Download Flash and Video

Rated 4 out of 5 stars

Very easy to use and useful tool. It does have problems with videos on facebook news feeds, but other than that works great.

SmoothWheel

Rated 4 out of 5 stars

Nice implementation, smooth scrolling does indeed feel more natural than the native firefox scrolling. The only thing that bothered me was that no matter what I tried with the settings, something about the way text looks when you smooth scroll disturbed my eyes, it felt like I had to strain them.

Lazarus: Form Recovery

Unbelievably useful Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Can't believe I was filling forms without this till now. The frustration of losing the data you just typed in a very long form is gone for good. Great job guys.

Pearltrees

Amazing UI, very engaging, but not that useful for me Rated 4 out of 5 stars

First thing you have to say about pearltrees is that it's visually stunning. The UI is designed extremely well and you really get a feel for browsing through "pearls" this way. It's robust, smooth, and engaging. I found it was fun to play with and traverse various topics and websites this way. Well done, guys.

But... I can't see how it will be actually useful for me. I just don't see myself browsing the web or my favorite sites this way. It's cool for me as a novelty and fun tool to play around with every once in a while, but not much more. I'm keeping it installed to give it a chance in the long run and will update again if I find that I'm using it more than I expected.

MeasureIt

Rated 4 out of 5 stars

I just redesigned one of my web pages and this tool came in handy. However in most cases I needed the ruler to snap to an HTML element and it was much simpler and more accurate to use firebug, which also gives me a lot of other options.
So, it's a good tool if you need to measure distances across HTML element boundaries, but for me that's the exception rather than the rule.

Gmail Twitter & Facebook Signature - WiseStamp

Rated 4 out of 5 stars

Very useful addon - if you don't have a lot of email addresses you use and don't need different signatures for each. What I really like: the various customization options, the social network and chat/IM icons, and the signature layout. But I'm really missing the option to attach a different signature for each one of my emails and the ability to have more than just 2 signatures.

DeezerMSN

Rated 4 out of 5 stars

Cool addon, small but useful, and works well.

Would be nice to see an English translation though, and also support for other music sites. I also wasn't able to get the {script} feature working in the options.

1 Click Bookmark

Nice addon Rated 4 out of 5 stars

I found this addon to be nice and useful, especially the sharing buttons easily available for leading social sites. However.. I don't really need another personalized homepage (I already have one on a leading site). I will say that the personalized homepage is very easy to manage and should probably appeal to first time users.
The search box is kind of unnecessary, every browser already has at least one of those, it just takes up more space on the toolbar.

News

Useful and easy Rated 5 out of 5 stars

I spend about 1 hour every day reading online news, and NewsAddict is one of the simplest, most elegant ways I've seen to get me new and interesting stories with no effort. You don't need to open a menu, a sidebar, an RSS reader, or anything like that - you simply get one headline on the statusbar, that you can click on to see the entire story - cool! The headline changes quite frequently, I didn't really figure out when and how, but it gets me the top news stories.
