Does not work Rated 1 out of 5 stars

I've tried this out with a few pages and the add-on doesn't seem to work properly. Even after clicking on the button the extension adds to your toolbar, I don't see the archive.org version of the page.

Disconnect

As Advertised Rated 5 out of 5 stars

I can't speak to how much this add-on actually reduces loading times, but it certainly does manage to block shady tracking by third-parties. Along with HTTPS Everywhere, these are the first add-ons I install in order to guard against surveillance and typical insecurities. Also, it makes me feel better that Disconnect is independent, unlike the more-popular Ghostery, which is ironically run by an online advertising company (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ghostery).

NoSquint

Provides Simpler Access to Text Zoom Rated 4 out of 5 stars

On many websites, I feel that the default text size is made for those with 20/10 vision or better. I sometimes struggle to read the scribblings, particularly when I have my monitor at a appreciable distance away from me. Normally, I just use the default zoom features, which simply increase the size of the webpage. The add-on itself works as advertised, and makes changing text size much easier. Unfortunately, many sites rely on specific text sizes, so the layout can be destroyed by increasing the font size too much. This isn't really a failing on the add-on's part, but does make it less useful. I was excited about the possibilities but I have simply resorted back to using the default full-page zoom.

IE Tab V2 (Enhanced IE Tab)

Unreliable Rated 1 out of 5 stars

I'm not sure how this add-on works, but it gives dishonest results and cannot be trusted. I set the correct location of the IE executable, but what is displayed is many times different than what is shown when I actually view the page in IE. Since this is really the only reason to use the extension in the first place, it's effectively useless.

Classic Theme Restorer

Surprisingly Useful Rated 5 out of 5 stars

I installed this plugin expecting it to be geared towards Luddites who fear progress, but I was pleasantly surprised. I use it in combination with the Tree-Style tabs add-on, which allows me to almost completely remove the window chrome that is on the top of Firefox. Yet, I can still click and drag, because it retains a few pixels. A really useful add-on for increasing usable screen real-estate!

Pocket

Plugin Could Use Improvement Rated 3 out of 5 stars

I must agree with other reviewers and say that although the Pocket service itself is very useful, this add-on could use some work. Many times, I will try to load stories in the sidebar and none will be returned, even after continual refreshes (and confirmation that I have plenty unread in the number next to the icon). My primary use-case is for saving articles for later and reading them on my phone, though, so I don't have too much interaction with the sidebar or marking stories as read within Firefox. For that, the add-on performs well; I have yet to notice that it has missed saving an article when I clicked on the save for later button.

LastPass Password Manager

Rated 5 out of 5 stars

I love LastPass and think everyone should be using at least some sort of password-management system that's better than Firefox's default. The availability and stability of LP is why I treasure it. This add-on does a fantastic job of generating secure passwords and managing them. Even though it doesn't work 100% of the time when it tries to capture logins, it works most of the time and significantly reduces the difficulty of organizing passwords.

Firebug

Rated 4 out of 5 stars

Although the default Firefox developer tools have really improved in the last few years, I still treasure Firebug for its numerous integrations of add-ons and unmatched structured DOM view. It might take a second or two to open if it's not running, though, which is a consistent nuisance. Still, a very good add-on for client-side development.
