Classic Theme Restorer

SettingSanity + Classic Theme Restorer Rated 5 out of 5 stars

SettingSanity (v1.0) restores the Tools>Options>Content, Images & JavaScript options, including the Enable JavaScript>Advanced options where you can disable allowing JavaScript to 'move or resize popup windows', raise or lower windows', and 'disable or replace context menus'.

Classic Theme Restorer (v1.4.8) hides the Tools>Options>Content, Images & JavaScript options, even when SettingSanity is installed. The options are still there, and their settings are still in effect, you just cannot access or change them without disabling Classic Theme Restorer first.

Thanks to the developer for a quick reply with a work-around.

I got a reply from the developer when I posted this same info on the CTR page:

SettingSanity does not like CTRs option "Remember last selected category" for no particular reason. Next CTR version will contain a workaround for this issue, but for now you only have to disable "CTR preference window > Options page/window > Remember last selected category" and restart Fx to be able to use SattingSanity add-ons "Images & JavaScript options" and CTR at once.

Nuke Anything Enhanced

FF v19.0.0 = working fine Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Just to update from the post saying it works in v16... Seems to be working fine in FF v19.0.0.

This review is for a previous version of the add-on (1.0.2.1-signed.1-signed).

CheckFox

Mozilla.org is wrong Rated 5 out of 5 stars

This web page (in the box) says it works with FF v5; the RDF says v4. Hacking the RDF for v5 lets it install in v5, but it does not seem to be working in v5.

FacebookBlocker

yes, it's a little iffy, Rated 4 out of 5 stars

but any reduction is a plus. It seems to be iffy when the facebook thing is lumped together with others - Digg, Twitter, Myspace (yes, it's used on IMDB!), etc.

@fe000firefox: I second your request. Also, check ReadAbility for cleaning up pages; it's a javascript bookmarklet you put on a toolbar, and it works pretty well.
