As far as a screen capture add-in, it works great in v23.0.1.
However, the BIG problem (aside from the webpage link to a page that doesn't exist!) is that it randomly (usually every or 3 'clicks on links' takes you to a Bing page.
This is definitely Ad-ware and very annoying.
I will be uninstalling as soon as I write this.
Just to let you know, this won't 'save' in Aurora, but I can copy to clipboard and save from my photo program.
Love the add-in, hope it gets updated soon :)
'teddiebeer's' workaround works in FF 19.0 beta version, but SS still doesn't just 'save'.
Keep up the good work though :)
I am with the others... I haven't 'saved' any screenshots since the 9th (Jan) when my FF updated to 18.
I love the program... I hope it can be fixed soon.
I've used a few different screen capture add-ins... some were good, some weren't.
This one does exactly what it says... captures the screen. Simple and to-the-point.
One complaint (and a solution): There's no option to place the icon in the status bar... however, if you go to (FireFox taskbar) Customize, you can 'drag' the icon down there :)
Keep up the good work :)
Great program... as stated in another review, JPG would be nice, and also the ability to 'always save' in a (chosen) folder, instead of the Desktop.
Other than that, great :)
FF Aurora (8.0a2, 2011-09-05)
I love screengrab! I just upgraded to FF 4.0b8 and it was not working... I used a trick-fix from mozillazine:http://kb.mozillazine.org/Editing_an_add-on_to_change_its_compatibilityand it works :)
Update: This doesn't work well... it only seems to save short screens and nothing with videos. Was worth a try, though :)
