There's no point in highlighting if the next time you reload the page all your highlighting disappears.

Doesn't Work For Me Rated 1 out of 5 stars

Doesn't work for me. I have GridTube installed (but I disabled it) and I also have the GreaseMonkey script YouTubeRateEverything (but I disabled that too). Too bad; I really wanted this to work.

Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Sometimes I'm in the middle of something and I don't want to close my FF tabs.

I like Stealther because it doesn't force me to close my tabs like "private browsing" does.

It sucks there's no update to make it work with FF 3.5.x, however, you can easily hack the xpi file to make it compatible:

1. Open the xpi file with winzip

2. Edit the file "install.rdf" with gvim or some other text editor. Change the version in "x.y.z where x=3, y= 8, and z=* (for example) this will make the addon work with FF 3.8.x

3. Save the file and have winzip update the archive.

4. Open the xpi file with FireFox.

5. Voila. Stealther works again.

My favorite theme, by far.

Not Quite What I Was Hoping For Rated 2 out of 5 stars

PriceDrop uses affiliate links, but reports your usage anonymously. I don't have a problem with that, as long as it's anonymous, but some people might. I think this fact should've gone into the add-on description (although to the authors' credit, it is clearly stated in the FAQ on their website). But that's not why I gave it 6 stars.

The reason why I gave it 6 stars is because the add-on only tracks things sold directly by Amazon itself. The vast majority of purchases I make from are from resellers who often sell new items more cheaply than Amazon and who also sell used items, often at ridiculously cheaper prices. I'd rather pay $0.01 + $3.99 for a used book than $40.00 for a new copy. Additionally, I no longer purchase new CDs from non-indie labels since I don't want my money going to the RIAA.

Unfortunately, PriceDrop doesn't track Amazon's reseller's prices. Tracking items sold directly by Amazon is almost useless for me.

Diigo Web Collector - Capture and Annotate

We hates it. We hates it to pieces! Rated 2 out of 5 stars

It makes me weep with sorrow when I think of the wasted potential of Diigo. Such a great idea, but executed so damned poorly.

The idea of Diigo is great, although I suspect that most of us are more interested in private bookmarking. The implementation, in a word, "sucks bigtime." Sorry; I guess that was two words.

It's barely usable.

First of all, half the time when I want to use it, the browser navigates away from the page I want to bookmark so I can log in to Diigo. And for what? Why won't it let me stay logged in to Dec 31 5150 if I care to? I want to stay logged in forever. Why force me to log in so much? And why navigate away from the page I intend to highlight/comment on? Why not open a new tab? HELLO???? We have these amazing things called tabs. USE THEM.

Secondly, the interface is awful. Wasted space. I just want to see my comment. Nothing else. I don't want to know that my comment was posted by "me". And I don't want to know that the comment is provided by "Diigo". The sticky notes need to be streamlined to be space-efficient, fast, and predictable. No margins. No borders. I just want to see my comment.

The sticky notes are unreliable. Sometimes different sticky notes get strung together. I have no idea why.

This is a great idea just waiting for a good implementation.

Nuke Anything Enhanced

Agree with MacGee Rated 5 out of 5 stars

I have to agree with everything that MacGee said. This addon is one of my favorite addons ever. I hope to never live a day for the rest of my life with a browser that doesn't have this functionality. Thank you SO much for writing it -- you've definitely enhanced my web browsing experience!

I would gladly donate a "shareware thank you" for continued work on this addon.
