FloatNotes

Lack of Scrapbook Integration Rated 4 out of 5 stars

When the page containing internotes are saved using scrapbook, the notes are gone.
None of the other extensions I've tried works seamlessly with scrapbook.
FloatNotes/Xstickynotes - Notes are saved but are no longer editable

Scrapbook integration is a must if you're all for local backends. Essentially, scrapbook needs persistent highlights and sticky notes even before initiating a local capture. Persistent highlights can be achieved, although albeit inelegantly, using wired marker. Only sticky notes persistence/editability remains.

Hope this helps.

Organize Search Engines

Suggestion - Support for Tree-level Indentation Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Brilliant addon!

Would be nice if there's an option to make searches open new tabs indented with the tree level (as has been recently introduced in tree style tab).

Highlight "whole" search queries NOT word by word Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Brilliant addon! Just what I was looking for.
Suggestions:
Have an option to only highlight "whole" search queries instead of word by word. For eg. if I'm finding for the following error, ==> ERROR: There is no agent set up to handle file URLs. Check /etc/makepkg.conf. I don't want the terms "no" "to" bla bla to be highlighted.

Besides, the highlight is only useful when we are zooming in on the set of search terms itself. Rarely do we need to have term by term highlight since we're not searching word for word.
Do Consider!

XUL/Migemo

Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Brilliant replacement for search marker!
Suggestions:
1) The markers are a bit too big/obstrusive.
2) Markers are not context specific. For eg. in (find only links mod) it still shows markers for text!
3) Find links mode seems to apply all the time(in quick find). Cannot find a way to have 2 separate quick find modes. Start on type for no links mode and press '/' for links mode. This mode is especially useful for opening links totally by keyboard.
4) Highlight all words can hardly be seen(only bold).

Search Tab

Is it possible to add a toolbar icon for those who disabled the statusbar??

Search Everywhere

Add toolbar icon Rated 5 out of 5 stars

is it possible to add a toolbar icon instead of just the statusbar? Useful for people who disable the statusbar.

DoubleClick ContextMenu

Interferes with "backspace" Rated 5 out of 5 stars

This works great except when you're editing text in a dialog box. Sometimes you double click select(to select word by word) to erase them with a backspace key but with the context menu up, it doesn't work!
An easy way to solve this would be to have an option that disables the extension in text fields.

Second Search

Search Multiple Search engines at once Rated 5 out of 5 stars

It'll be great if we can also search multiple search engines at once. Possibly using a checkbox system as in this outdated extension. https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/9599
You simply type the query press spacebar to select the search engines(or the checkboxes using the mouse) then press enter to have them opened in multiple tabs.
In addition we can also have predefined groups to group together related search engines together. Eg. for programming related queries we can group stack overflow and cplusplus.com together.

Any thoughts

Multiple Tab Handler

Context menu - Move to new session Rated 5 out of 5 stars

just thought I'd share a suggestion...

It'll be great if session manager could be integrated with the "multiple tab handler" extension. More specifically, select multiple tabs, right click to open its context menu, and have an option that says "save as session". Currently, the only way to achieve is to move the tabs to a new window and manually save the session there. Or, to right click them and save all of them as bookmarks in a folder. But this way, "tree style tabs" tab hierarchy is lost. It's nice that this doesn't happen with session manager.

.... which brings me to a neater idea. The whole session saving thing should be implemented "bookmarks" style. Basically you have all the tabs saved in a tree structure. You can drag multiple tabs into the "Tabmarks" pane from the tab bar and vice versa. This helps to elminate tab clutter since your current session only consists of what you're working on. Currently, it is common to have many tabs on many topics with no way of quickly eliminating the clutter except through bookmarking.

Essentially, like files in folders, there should be more versatile ways to manipulate them in batches.

Any thoughts?

btw, i posted the same suggestion in session manager's forums.

MileWideBack

Change Default Behaviour! Rated 5 out of 5 stars

You can even Customize what each mouse event does! Pity there's no GUI... http://dragtotab.mozdev.org/milewideback/customization.html
