FF4 Linux Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Another great version of my favorite Firefox-extension. For your updates, bookmark the URL to Marc's page rather than going to the Firefox addons-page that only uses to tell me, that the validator is anyway not available for my platform... blablabla, It did so for the previous three or four releases, too. Blabla. This works like a charm and always did!

Element Hiding Helper for Adblock Plus

take and give ! Rated 5 out of 5 stars

How can I express my complete conformity with the opinion, that Tscarli just expressed other than by using the same vocabulary...

"With this add-on you may, for the first time, get the impression, that a free web-service is, in fact, free". It is free like in freedom. Do not offer free service, if you do not.
Otherwise, we will see ourselves to liberating us of your ads! And I am very happy, that the Element Hiding Helper finally rids me of all that <beeeep> (that was for the US-citizens who are too easily offended by simple truths). Oopsies.

Enigmail

Incompatible ! Rated 4 out of 5 stars

Same problem as grouss has reported below. Installation reports Enigmail 1.1-tb.linux to be incompatible to Linux_x86_64-gcc3 and Thunderbird 3.0.4, Ubuntu 10.x.

Is there a 64bit-issue?

Enfin!

I do not know why, but after a long time, version 0.8.5.8 runs again in my Firefox 3.5.3 under Ubuntu. This is much better, than occasionally using tidy on the command-line.
This is a wonderful tool and (under Windows) it has safed me a lot of time, already. Unfortunately, the W3C validation-standard is a little behind the W3C (X)HTML-standard and another external validator (like validome) is still needed. But that is not your fault. ;-)
