I noted a bit strange behavior on FF 29 (beta) - both for regular and development channel versions. I mean the NS menu is now upside down, i.e. those position that used to be at the bottom are not at the top and vice versa...This review is for a previous version of the add-on (188.8.131.52).
For those who install 29 beta it might have been a shock that the status bar is missing again. Fortunately S4E in its beta release brings it back with no problems! This review is for a previous version of the add-on (2013.10.31.22). This user has 2 previous reviews of this add-on.
Download Nubs does the job indeed yet it's on a very early stage at the moment. Still hoping for Download Statusbar update yet, even though Mozilla forums opinions tend to suggest that due to Firefox modification it is harder and harder to produce an add-on that meets the new requirements. This user has a previous review of this add-on.
It breaks some Status-4-Evar functionalities, like showing page load progress in the browser address field - I used to have it set into "fill" mode and haven't changed it, yet after this add-on installation it's the line only. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (0.9.10).
Excellent add-on - I've been using it for almost ages now.
But it needs an update to get working in FF 26 as it's not visible in the statusbar of this version.
It would be nice if the releases from the development channel updated to official version as well. I like installing dev builds but in S4E case I miss official releases that way...This review is for a previous version of the add-on (2013.10.31.22). This user has other reviews of this add-on.
That's a stunning add-on, bringing back all the features we loved and Mozilla thought it knew better and removed it.
Though it doesn't seem to work in FF25 :(
I do hope the development version will bring everything back when it's finished.
The intention is superb - that's what I looked for!
However I miss one feature - changing the colors of the highlight. Plus for me the "auto highlight" feature is not working :( - each time I have to set it on again...
If only someone could explain to me why it refuses to work on my desktop version while works on the portable one (both 3.6.3)...
Excellent addon but in the version 0.7.2 there seems to be a bug :( Instead of coloring HEADINGS of posts only it colors WHOLE POSTS...This review is for a previous version of the add-on (0.7.2).
It's great extension but after upgrading from 1.5.1 to 1.5.2 I see BOTH styles together (two bars) - how to remove it???This review is for a previous version of the add-on (1.5.3).
It's an excellent add-on!
I just feel quite disappointed that I purchased the "full" version from Jennifer but there is no possibility of updating it. I mailed Jennifer about that but received no answer...
Apparently to update to the newer version presented on her webpage (currently 2.8) I need to spend another 10$ which I find quite unfair...
Anyone experienced the same situation?
