Great extension that should be already included in Firefox by default.
I only have a small gripe : when this extension is installed, and you try to modify a previous bookmark (e.g. by clicking on the gold star in the address bar), the Bookmarks menu that opens up points to the Folder where you last saved a bookmark, instead of the Folder where the bookmark really is (the latter being Firefox's default behavior).
Unless, of course, there''s an option somewhere in the add-on settings that I have overlooked...
At first, version 0.2.1 seemed to fix the width issue in "Options" on Thunderbird.
However, after checking other windows to see everything was correct (everything was, besides "Return Receipt Settings", under "Email Accounts Settings", where the scroll boxes were -- very slightly -- cropped on the right), the old/cropped width of the "Options" window returned inexplicably.
I believe it happened after I toyed with the add-on's options (BTW, enabling "Icons" makes scroll boxes appear on the options window of the add-on; it should be made slighty larger to prevent this), but I can't be 100% sure it is what caused the bug to return.
I've also tested this 0.2.1 version on Firefox 3.6 : some windows suffer from this bug.
Last but not least, I have one suggestion to make : an option to have the icons be brighter, brighter-reverse, grey, regular (faded -- like it is by default), or normal (always regular, no matter if they're hovered or not), without having to overwrite mosaic.png would be pretty sweet.
4 stars, because each version it gets better.
Unfortunately, it reduces the size of some windows, making some boxes/text go out of bound (check for example in "Tools"->"Options" -> "Composition"), even if all the options of the add-on have been disabled.
Thunderbird : version 3.0.1
OS : Windows XP SP3
Unfortunately, it reduces the size of some windows, making some boxes/text go out of bound (check for example in "Tools"->"Options" -> "Composition"), even if all the options of the add-on have been disabled. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (0.1.8).
Sadly, it conflicts with Add Bookmark Here ² (https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/3880), where a middle click on a bookmark will disrupts the mouse cursor behavior when you want to click on a second bookmark.
+ Open some links that Snap Links Plus doesn't.
- Conflicts with Image Zoom ( http://imagezoom.yellowgorilla.net/ ).
- Much less configurable than Snap Links.
Great add-on, though I had liked an option to only color the active tab (like PageStyle2Tab has). This review is for a previous version of the add-on (1.0).
Great add-on, sadly the new "open in tabs" feature is incompatible with search engines without icon.
Also cannot be used in conjunction with Menu Icons Plus (https://addons.mozilla.org/fr/firefox/addon/8266).
