Very inconsistent Rated 2 out of 5 stars
I really hope the developer can make this as good as the Lazarus add-on that I've used for years. I really relied on that add-on heavily, but it stopped working a while back.
TextArea really doesn't work all that well. I've been bitten so many times where no text was saved, I've grown a bit bitter over this add-on.
It happens very often, but where I notice it most is in Mantis bugtracker. We use this to keep track of bugs and such. Often I will type a bunch of text, then click Submit. But, if there is too much time between a comment/edit and submission, Mantis complains there is a time out and I should try again.
That's where Lazarus was able to recover my text, and TextArea isn't.
Also, I now tried it on this add-ons review page. And after navigating away from the page, TextArea did NOT remember what I typed (luckily I copy'n'pasted it to the clipboard).
FF54+ compatibility Rated 5 out of 5 stars
Please tell us it will be updated to support FF54+? I bet a LOT of us really depend on having the date+time in the statusbar! This review is for a previous version of the add-on (4.2.3).
FF54+ compatibility Rated 5 out of 5 stars
I'm using AND LOVING this add-on, but it seems it will no longer work on FF54.
Is there any hope of an update? Or maybe another add-on that works on FF54+?
Doesn't show seconds Rated 1 out of 5 stars
It doesn't show the current time in seconds. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (0.0.4).
Too limited for my needs Rated 4 out of 5 stars
I currently use an add-on called 'Statusbar Date() v1.5.3'. This can display the following in the statusbar: "Mon 7-Aug-2017 21:33:57".
Is it possible you could allow for a full datetime like that permanently updating and being shown somewhere? Preferably in the statusbar.
That is certainly an improvement! Unfortunately, I still can't see the seconds. I use the seconds for timing things.
Will this be updated for Firefox 54+? Rated 5 out of 5 stars
I really love this add-on and use it a lot. But, it doesn't work properly with FF54+. Is there any chance this will be updated? Or is this add-on abandoned?
Sorry, I should have explained more accurately. Firefox falls back to single threaded when I use this add-on. When I disable this add-on, Firefox uses multiple threads and is fast again.
Don't dare to install exe Rated 1 out of 5 stars
Why does this need an exe? It really sounds very much like malware.
Developer, please explain why we MUST do this.
Still 100% CPU with latest version Rated 1 out of 5 stars
Just tried the latest version (as of 20-July-2017) and LastPass is STILL a mess. 100% CPU usage means Firefox becomes unusable. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (4.1.54). This user has a previous review of this add-on.
This addon prevents me from going to v53+ Rated 5 out of 5 stars
This fantastic add-on is SO important, I'll not upgrade Firefox anymore. Does anyone know of an addon that does the same thing?
Completely broken Rated 1 out of 5 stars
Since a week LastPass is completely broken. It takes 100% CPU time which cripples Firefox, and auto fill doesn't work anymore on a lot of websites.
To add insult to injury, they introduced a very user unfriendly user interface.
When will Mozilla FINALLY fix this?!? Rated 5 out of 5 stars
This has driven me NUTS for years now. FINALLY I found this add-on that fixes this INCREDIBLE annoyance.
Thank you Kai Liu!
Very useful Rated 5 out of 5 stars
I have no idea why Mozilla removed the feature, but I'm a person who has hundreds of tabs open. By throwing them into logical groups I can keep projects together and don't have to deal with hundreds of tabs at the same time.
Big thanks for creating this add-on.
I don't know why user 'League of Internet' says there is adware. I have not seen it. Anyone know what he's talking about?
No Youtube? FAIL! Rated 1 out of 5 stars
A video downloader that doesn't download videos from the most popular sites?
Thanks for keeping tab groups! Rated 5 out of 5 stars
I had a small seizure when I read they would stop with tab groups. I permanently have about 6 tab groups arranged for all sorts of topics (e.g., work, sports, news, ...)
How on Earth would I keep the over one hundred tabs sorted properly?
With the tab groups this is still possible. MANY thanks for keeping this feature.
One small request:
Could you please add an option to auto-arrange the tab groups? Now I often have to resize and rearrange the groups when I add a temporary group.
Fake? Rated 1 out of 5 stars
The add on only shows links to other sites and does nothing when I went to Twitch. I think this is a fake add-on.
Terrible, doesn't work Rated 1 out of 5 stars
This is terrible! I installed it and changed all the settings to my liking (primarily 'Prevent auto play' options), but after a restart ALL THE VIDEOS IN ALL MY 100+ tabs started playing at the same time!
It does the exact opposite of what I want. Grrrrrrrr.
Great app, but broken in FF21 Rated 5 out of 5 stars
I use this app almost daily, but with FF21 it is now broken. The 'close tab after saving' function no longer works. I hope this can be fixed soon. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (0.8.8.1-signed).
Firefox 17 Rated 5 out of 5 stars
This add-on is indispensable, so I'm glad the nightly builds work on Firefox 17. Hopefully a proper release version will come out soon. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (0.4.0.3.1-signed).
Videos And Pictures Rated 5 out of 5 stars
I was already using Downloadhelper to get videos to watch in Media Player Classic Home Cinema, but I just now discovered it can also download other media like pictures. I had a page with some videos and thumbnail pictures. When I chose to download all media not only did Downloadhelper download the videos, but ALSO the pictures! Mind you, not the thumbnails, but the pictures they were linking to!
You can try this out on a website like www.anandtech.com or www.tomshardware.com.
Rated 4 out of 5 stars
What with the recent problems with DigiNotar and potentially some other CAs this addon shows its importance and relevance. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (22.214.171.124-signed.1-signed).
