I wish it could also perform regex find and replace. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (1.01.1-signed).
I just tested it on a non-English file, but the table of contents in the side bar was shown as mojibake (while windows chm viewer could open the same file without any problem).

(If you don't know Persian, the contents sidebar may seem readable to you, but it's not, at least not on my computer.)
Keyword bookmarks won't work after installing this addon. ( http://lifehacker.com/196779/hack-attack-firefox-and-the-art-of-keyword-bookmarking )
Yes, the bookmarked site appears in the dropdown results. But it may be not the first one. The default behavior of Firefox is that whenever you type a keyword bookmark and press enter, the browser goes directly to the mentioned website. But after installing foobar I have to select it from those results.
When using this extension I had an issue with marking some messages as read. Today while using a similar extension on Chrome I found out that Conversation View setting on your Gmail account might be the cause. If you are having the same problem might want to give this a try. :)
I'm using FF 34.0. The addon seems to be very feature-rich, but unfortunately I could not get it to work.
The Shift+F8 keyboard shortcut launches the Firefox WebIDE. I couldn't get the main window by clicking on Tools > FoxReplace > Replace with substitutions either. :(
Before, I was not able to launch the bottom toolbar. The reason was that I had another program installed on my computer which was using the F8 keyboard shortcut. I could solve this by changing the FoxReplace's keyboard shortcut from F8 to F4 using the addon introduced by MarcRA in my response.
Great job Marc, Thanks!
Also, if possible, I would like to suggest adding this item to the FoxReplace menu.
It would have been incredible if this addon could also replace text in textareas using regex.
Caused my FF to slow down, I had to disable it. After installing, sometimes FF hanged for a few moments when I was typing something. (e.g. when in console, usually after starting to type "$" I had to wait a couple of seconds for Firefox to come back)
This is the best Gmail checker add-on on FF IMO. But Checker Plus for Gmail™ on Google Chrome is a lot slicker with tons of options. I really miss it on Firefox. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (0.3.6.1-signed).
In recent months I noticed that in some pages selecting text has become slow and with a delay and also FF crashes on restarts. I tried many different solutions but after disabling add-ons one by one I finally (and unfortunately) found out that it was related to this great add-on. May be this was only for me or maybe there was an incompatibility between this and my other add-ons (e.g. Quickjava?). Anyway if anyone else had those mentioned symptoms, my suggestion is to try disabling this add-on.
FF 23.0.1 Win 7 64-bit
"Copy to clipboard and close" and "Copy to clipboard" buttons don't work. (I can see the generated citation, but couldn't find a way to copy it to clipboard.)
Using this add-on once I feel I can tolerate this big memory bug. Now I know when to restart FF before it gets too heavy and slow down my computer. Thanks. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (1.11.1-signed).
Very nice work. Only a small problem I have: When I try to change keyboard language, which is done by pressing alt+shift, MKN activates unwantedly. It could be great if it could distinguish the difference between pressing shift (only) and pressing the combination of shift+altThis review is for a previous version of the add-on (0.4.9.1-signed).
