Love this addon, but doesn't work fully at the moment Rated 3 out of 5 stars
I really appreciate the work the dev has done on this extension, and would ordinarily give it 5 stars, as it's incredibly useful and convenient. However, as others have pointed out, it doesn't work when configured to use goo.gl or bit.ly (although it does work when j.mp is enabled for bit.ly, which is what I'm using to make it work).
I really hope it's fixed soon, or that the options that don't work are removed.
Great addon, but currently has a bug. Rated 4 out of 5 stars
Great addon but, as someone has said, it conflicts with FindBar Tweak, by making the "Match Case" button permanently enabled. This user has a previous review of this add-on.
Great add-on Rated 5 out of 5 stars
Thanks for creating this addon - it's one of the ones I use most. Just one thing - the CTRL+SHIFT+L shortcut doesn't work on OS X, although it works fine on Ubuntu (using Firefox 40.0.3 on both platforms). Do you know how to fix this? This review is for a previous version of the add-on (126.96.36.199-signed).
Looks great and very useful, but doesn't recognise ".*" for "any character between zero and infinite times" Rated 4 out of 5 stars
I'd really like to use this extension, but I can't figure out how to formulate the regex token for "any character between zero and infinite times". Help appreciated. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (1.01.1-signed).
Great extension. Just a feature request... Rated 5 out of 5 stars
I love this extension. I can't use Firefox without it.
I have one suggestion. Would it be possible to have an function that provides a list of all the gestures that have been configured (but without the ones that haven't)? This could then be printed and used as a reference.
Thanks a lot!
Great extension Rated 5 out of 5 stars
I love this extension - many thanks to the developer for all the hard work.
Just to note, Firefox 34.0 brought the following changes to the search engines tool:
To revert it back to the old style, set the browser.search.showOneOffButtons property to false and restart firefox.
Doesn't work in FF 33.0 Rated 2 out of 5 stars
It's a shame, but this extension doesn't work any more. :(
Makes Firefox Usable Again. Just one BUG Rated 5 out of 5 stars
I thought I'd written a rave review of this extension before, but it seems to have disappeared. Anyway, I love this extension - without it, I probably would have moved to Chrome.
There is just one issue - there is no "Double click on tabs toolbar opens a 'new' tab" option in option, and enabling the extensions.classicthemerestorer.dblclnewtab setting has no effect.
Other than this, it's great! :)
Very useful addon! Rated 5 out of 5 stars
I have enjoyed using this addon. It really helps me see, and quickly grab, the scrollbars that are difficult to see when viewing some web pages. However, I think it has developed a bug, or conflict with the latest version of FF, because the handle often disappears.
Also, although I'm not sure whether it's related, every time I opened addons (via Tools), the addons tab and the whole browser would hang and be totally unresponsive. The only way to recover is to forcibly close the browser and start again. This has been resolved since I disabled NewScrollbars today.
Anyway, thank you for creating the addon - I really appreciate it. I hope you are able to get to the bottom of the new problems.
EDIT: Thanks for the quick response. Leaving my review as it is, in case others miss the note on the addon page like I did. Raising my review for 4 to 5 stars accordingly. :)

The panoramtech component was added slyly, without any notification. I have no idea how long I've been running this with it included. Uninstalling! This review is for a previous version of the add-on (2.4.1-signed).
Makes FF29+ Nice Again Rated 5 out of 5 stars
If it wasn't for this addon, I probably would have stopped using Firefox due to Mozilla's decisions to remove user choice and configurability in FF29+. Particularly obnoxious was imposing tabsOnTop, silly space-wasting rounded tabs and immovable icons on everyone.
Anyway, CTR makes everything good again. Many thanks to the developer!!

Great addon before, although unfortunately doesn't work for FF29+

Firefox 30, Ubuntu 12.04
The problem with this extension is that it does not include an individual toolbar button and so cannot be placed individually. The only way to enable the counter is to place the statusbar "widget" from the customise toolbar buttons list, but this means also adding lots of other icons that you don't need.
Further to this, it counts ALL open tabs. It would be very helpful if it also displayed the number of open tabs in the current tab group.
Other than these issues, it's a good addon. It would be nice to see it reach its potential though.
Nice Addon, but could be improved. Rated 4 out of 5 stars
Firefox 30, Ubuntu 12.04
This addon is good, but it would be very helpful if it also displayed the number of open tabs in the current tab group.
However, I do appreciate the work that has gone into it. Keep up the great work! :)
Nice Addon, but new feature is needed. Rated 5 out of 5 stars
Note: Please ignore my last review, which actually related to a different addon.
I love this addon. It would be really good if it also showed the total tabs open in all groups too, though.
Thank you for your hard work!
Makes Firefox Usable Again! (includes feature request) Rated 5 out of 5 stars
Thank you for the work that went into this extension, which fixes many of the hideous changes in Firefox 29. You are a life-saver! ;)
Thank you again!
Brilliant Extension. Just one problem... Rated 5 out of 5 stars
I love this extension. It makes browsing so much easier. I often recommend it to people.
However, with the highly-customised gesture scheme I'm using, "Duplicate Tab" is not working. In the Gesture Table (see below), the gesture shows a prefix of forward-slash. I didn't add this, and have tried numerous times to redefine the gesture to remove this, with no success.
I also cannot see a way to enable/disable each gesture without clearing them - is there a way to do this?
I'd appreciate any advice. In the meantime, many thanks for all the hard work that went into this!
Thank you for this!!! Rated 5 out of 5 stars
After an unwelcome automatic upgrade to 29 a week ago, I thought the only solution to avoid such an obnoxious change my minimalist UI (particularly, the horrible rounded bottom tab edges and the inability to have "tabs on bottom") was to download a portable copy of FF and disable the auto-upgrade setting.
FF 29 really does not seem ready for release!
Anyway, this extension has saved the day! Thank you to all involved!

Almost certainly, TMP is THE most important extension for firefox. Keep up the amazing work!
It's not really working at the moment for FF29, which means that I have disabled firefox's auto-update option (prefs > Advanced > Update) and will stay on FF28 until the next TMP release (hoping that it's soon).

Great extension that I've used for a number of years. The only way it could be improved would be with clearer documentation from a genuine/trustworthy person on how it works and how to set it up.
PS. Thank you for your response, Alfonso. Excuse my obvious ignorance about this extension. It would be really helpful if there was single page to explain how it works in more detail. It's very confusing why the sitetophone.com website was necessary in the first place, why it is no longer necessary, and how the extension works without it. What server is providing the backend to this extension, and why aren't it's details readily available?
Also, when installing the Chrome browser extension and accepting the permissions, chrometophone states, "Chrome to Phone (chrometophone.appspot.com) - not affiliated with Google". Thus, the extension's authenticity is not entirely clear.
I think it would be helpful to begin your instructions with, "Based on the ChromeToPhone project, started by a group of Google engineers, this extension enables you to...". Also, it's my feeling that the About page at www.foxtophone.com would be much better as the front page rather than a subpage. Furthermore, it would be good to include links to the official video (http://youtu.be/pQb243niMlg) and to the Chrome extension page (https://code.google.com/p/chrometophone/) on the website and in this extension's description.
I hope you will take my suggestions in the constructive manner in which they are intended. You are right - I didn't sound very appreciative before. Thank you for your hard work, and for a wonderful extension.
