Hi there. Thank you for the simplicity of this addon. If it is not asking too much, how about making the firefox cookie whitelist (exceptions) appear when the icon is clicked on? Cheers.
It's little addons like these which do a great deal. Thank you! This should be built in Firefox by default.
Nice to see this addon alive and kicking:) Would love to see :
1. CookieExFilter's functionality if possible: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/cookieexfilter/
2. There are three options: a. temporarily allow mozilla.org b. Allow mozilla.org for session and c. Allow mozilla.org. Do we really need option a. ? Isn't this the same as b. Please confirm and remove option a. if possible.
I have tried out a lot of cookie managers, but this one seems to be much more sensible:)....It would be nice if the cookie whitelist can be accessed by the status bar icon. Good job! This review is for a previous version of the add-on (0.4.0.1).
In combination with status 4 evar, brings back the "old fox" UI:)...A few small things:
If a blank tab is there, the globe icon shows up, could this be fixed? (not a big deal, but still).
For some sites, the globe icon shows up. I understand that these would not have their own favicons (is this the reason?), but perhaps some other icon could replace this?
The RSS icon seems to be too "bright", could it be tweaked to bring back the "older, slightly muted" appearance if possible?
Kudos again for such a nice addon!
I was happy to hear that Mozilla would be introducing a "private" tab mode in Firefox 20. Was disappointed that it was only a "Per-window Private Browsing " and not a "per tab private browsing" (some of the sites have got this info wrong). This addon takes care of private tab browsing, much appreciated:). Also appears to be very well implemented. Great job! This review is for a previous version of the add-on (0.1.0b4).
Firefox does have an inline autocomplete feature but it is not perfect, this little addon does a nice job. Well done! This review is for a previous version of the add-on (7).
Still a great addon. To make it work with gmail, check the code change being discussed by other users at the Mozilla forum:
Nice try! However, would love a whitelist feature along with functionality like that of the now extinct bartab (unload tabs after a specified period of time etc.).
Works great with Firefox 14, Win 7. Kudos! This review is for a previous version of the add-on (2.6.2).
Great job in bringing back the "old" domain highlighting for secure sites. However, could you make the domain highlighting display as in the 3.6 series? I've attached a screenshot of how it was in 3.6 and how it is now.
I know you've already mentioned that the padlock should be left alone. Would appreciate it if the padlock icon could also be removed. Thanks!
With the recent flash updates going downhill, this addon is essential. The reload page on change option works fine. Keep up with the simplicity:)This review is for a previous version of the add-on (1.8.0). This user has 2 previous reviews of this add-on.
This is an essential addon for most people. Every time I connect to the internet, I have a couple of tasks (maintenance, updates etc.) to perform on my system.
Sadly, these do not get done regularly due to the many distractions of the internet:)...Thanks to Reminder fox, these tasks are now done on time. Thank you!
Have been trying this out and seems to be a good idea though some of the tabs end up having darker and slightly weirder colors. Good job overall! This review is for a previous version of the add-on (1.4.3).
One quick question: Why do we need a "drop" down arrow in the icon? Would be nice if that could be removed since it does not seem to have any functionality at all. I also remember that the original cslite had no such icon.
Other than that, great job!
What I really like about Open source software is the fact that if you don't like it, either you or someone will come and do something about it:)
Google has literally "shoved" the new home page on its users (google images included). The instant feature kind of sucks (okay call me old fashioned:) and so does the new google images.
I created an exception for Google and voila! I'm back to the old Google. Thank you for creating such a wonderful addon. Cheers!
First congratulations on creating such a wonderful theme or rather bringing back an old theme. The new default theme of firefox is decent, but some of us want the "old look" back.
This along with status 4 evar brings back the old firefox. Kudos!
Works as advertised. Currently using it with Firefox 9.0.1 with the status 4 evar addon. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (1.6.3).
Seems to have a lot of potential, but does not seem to work with Firefox 9. Please fix
It's nice to be able to control so many permissions. However, a toolbar button is needed since it's kind of irritating to go to the addons manager and change permissions.
It would also be very nice if you could explain what would happen if a person blocks "Document, Dtd, Object,
ObjectSubRequest, Ping, Refresh, Stylesheet, Subdocument, Xbl,XmlHttpRequest" for a particular site (You've also mentioned that some of these content types are not supported by Firefox.
Please explain. Thanks!
