No longer works at all, fails the download every single time - anyone know of one that actually does work these days please? This user has 3 previous reviews of this add-on.
Still using it and loving it Rated 5 out of 5 stars
This is the third time I've written a review and once again I am not in the least surprised to find it way up there as one of the top rated add-on's because it undoes all the things that Mozilla should nerve have done in the first place.
I contributed because to me, it allowed me to keep using Firefox and the effort of Aris in making, maintaining and updating this is worth payment.
Thanks again Aris.
I love it again Rated 5 out of 5 stars
After becoming irked at he inability of this add on not no be able to download 1080 versions of the videos on YouTube I complained - tried others and complained and gave up.
Finally, after months of fruitless searching I reinstalled this one and paid the contribution and now all is well.
My only worry is that should I restore my system how will I reactivate the full version without paying again. I have asked for advice on this via the website.

This is brilliant - poor Scrat - I hope he gets this one.
Well that's it for me Rated 1 out of 5 stars
Two weeks ago I tried this one and it didn't allow 1080 downloading so I wrote a review which was answered to be fair, telling me it would not take long to fix the issue. 2 weeks later still cannot download 1080 so out it comes. I suggest you not waste your time installing any of these things as none of them seem to download 1080 any more - I now search for videos I want and find the 1080 and download with Flashget instead. Got all Katy Perry's videos this way. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (7.37.1-signed). This user has other reviews of this add-on.
Just like all the others Rated 3 out of 5 stars
Despite promised it will not download 1080. It's really as simple as that. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (0.4.2.1-signed).
It is not back.... Rated 1 out of 5 stars
It used to work, then it didn't now they say it is back. What was once best video downloader is virtually useless. It cannot download anything higher than 720 so please do not expect it to based on the description. Problem is the next best one entices you then wants you to pay for the pro version to do the same. I use flashget now and go to different sites until I find the video I want. It is easier than cluttering up the add-ons with ones that no longer work. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (220.127.116.11-signed).
It works but no longer on HD Rated 4 out of 5 stars
While I thank you very much for your efforts and dedication in making this add-on which works almost as described, I do not understand how a pro version would not be blocked to 1080 videos while the free one is. A week ago I replaced my old video downloader with this and despite it saying "wait 4-5 days before we can fix this and enable downloading for all as usual." for 1080 videos it is still not working so I can only assume it will not work again.
Perhaps adding the fact hat 1080 downloading is no longer working into the description might be a good idea as it seems that it is just a way to get people to install it otherwise.
I am not against paying for this but I feel I was tricked somewhat into trying it in the first place as everyone who wants one of these add-ons obviously wants to get the 1080 videos and your add prominently says it can do that. You are of course not the only ones to do this.
In the meantime I will try another add-on and hope that one day you will fix this one as it is really nice and works like the one I used to use before that broke that one as well.
Well seems the first 50,000 were not alone Rated 5 out of 5 stars
I already left feedback for this after the unfortunate update that was called Australis. At that time, about 6 weeks ago for me, this ad-on had about 50,000 downloads which went up to 90,000 within three days of that.
Complaining to Mozilla was like critisizing their baby, it got no-where so at one point I mentioned the take-up of this wonder as proof of the unpopularity. In the four weeks since then it has gone up by another 250,000. OK, perhaps in terms of the amount of users it is not a large proportion, but a lot of the apathetic silent's have not bothered to complain or they would have got this add-on as Mozilla list it as a solution to the nasty things they did in v29.
I just want to thank Aris once again for working on this. I still use FF because of it, if it were not for this I'd be using another browser.

Well three days ago the amount of people who had downloaded this was 54,500. Today it is up to 90,400. Says a lot about Australis. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (18.104.22.168-signed). This user has other reviews of this add-on.
The dogs b******s Rated 5 out of 5 stars
This is great, corrected all the mistakes the developers made from relying too much on 'metrics' in v29 that really got my back up.
I got the tabs back to where any reasonable and sane developer knows they belong - under the address bar!
I got those tabs back to the squared versions instead of the curved monstrosities that v29 stuck there.
I got rid of that useless, eyesore, nasty orange application button that in their wisdom, the developers decided could not be vanquished from within the software itself in v29.
Finally, and for me most importantly, I got the History and Bookmarks buttons back which now open the sidebars with one click, instead of the newly, insane 2 clicks that the developers thought might be a great idea in non-streamlining in v29.
Aris, the developer of this software is correcting mistakes that the FF developers are making and he needs to be praised and rewarded for it. There's $10 on the way my friend.
In the end this add-on saved me from switching to Chrome, as I would have been forced to upgrade to this version in the end for security and I suspect functional reasons. I would have been using Chrome and probably not linking it too much but that would have been better than using a version of Firefox that I hated but once loved. The worst of two evils. For that I am grateful.
Works for me Rated 5 out of 5 stars
I clicked on a link tonight only to found that it was a dead one, this got me wondering how many more there were and how would I find them without going through them all one at at a time.
I organize my bookmarks in folders on my bookmarks toolbar. I also have a few folders and bookmarks on the bookmark Menu and also of course the unsorted ones.
I Installed this and ran it and it found 17 dead bookmarks three of which I verified were dead by trying them out three of them - two of these were inside the folders on my Bookmarks Toolbar, and the other was in my unsorted bookmarks.
For me, it worked a treat. Got rid of the dead ones in all three places where I keep them, does what it says on the tin.
I loved this Rated 2 out of 5 stars
While it worked!I don't know when it happened as I very rarely add or delete any bookmarks but today I deleted a few 'oldies' and moved a few misplaced ones and noticed that they were not alphabetized as they should have been. I restarted FF and checked the settings in Auto-Sort, nothing was amiss. It just stopped working so I removed it. I might try it again in a few months if there is an update.
EDIT in answer to developer:
I am currently using FF 23.0.1 and I use Windows 7 Pro 64bit
I had set no delay and checked the settings to make sure
There were no errors in the console, everything seemed fine
Only the bookmarks and folders were to be sorted and not the toolbar.
However, like I said, it has been a long time since I changed any of my bookmarks so this could have happened quite a while ago, all of them were still alphabetically organized, except the ones I moved and new ones added.
I just re-installed it did the settings I had before and it did not sort the bookmarks, also did not sort any new ones I added as a test.
All my setting as follows:
Auto-sort - onDelay - 0
Delay for Folders - 30
Sort Bookmarks Menu - on
Sort Bookmarks Toolbar - off
Sort Unsorted Bookmarks - on
Sort by - Name
Inverse - off
Then Sort By None
Inverse second order - off
Folder Sort Order - 3
Linkmark Sort Order - 2
Smart Bookmark Sort Order - 4
Bookmark Sort Order - 1
all display options are selected as on
I do like it...but Rated 4 out of 5 stars
I love being organised so this seemed like a great add-on. I love the way it sorts the shortcuts and the options to control the sort order but I agree with the others, this should be off, not on when first installed as I really do not want my bookmarks toolbar sorted at all. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (1.6.1-signed).
Really nice, but..... Rated 4 out of 5 stars
I love this theme, it's not too overbearing and it is colourful enough to look really good without being distracting. As far as I can tell everything in the theme works fine except for one thing - the 'close tab' cross skips to the right when my pointer is placed over it, leaving a little artefact behind on the left. I am not sure that this is a design feature or a bug but would like to know either way. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (4.0.1).
