Indispensible Rated 4 out of 5 stars
I use this extension to change the ESC key to Toggle Fullscreen instead of Stop. I move Stop to the End key. Why? Because when firefox puts youtube into fullscreen mode it tells you to get out using ESC, not F11. But ESC doesn't work because some idiot programmer decided that F11 was the key to use.
My only complaint is that when firefox upgraded to v38 this extension somehow lost my settings and I had to enter them again.
Noscript is harder and harder to use with each passing day. Rated 2 out of 5 stars
Noscript needs to be set up more like adblock edge. You should be able to subscribe to site-specific rules that let the site run with the minimum permissions that it requires, but prevent it from running amok.
Adblock edge takes almost no effort for the typical user. You subscribe to Easylist and all the popular websites just work the way the adblock user wants them to. No problem! You can add custom rules if you need them, but you almost never need them. Noscript needs to work the same way.
Nice add-on, too bad FF 26 screws Find up. Rated 5 out of 5 stars
I like S4E and want to keep using it. I like my status bar just the way it always was and can't understand why FF keeps wanting to change things that aren't broken.
Now in FF 26 I've had to (hopefully temporarily) disable S4E because Edit Find (on page) no longer works with S4E since the FF 26 changes to Edit Find. If you try to find a word that you know is on a webpage and FF 26 can't find it, you have encountered the same bug.
Seekingalpha fixed! Rated 5 out of 5 stars
Today, I re-enabled adblock edge on seekingalpha.com again, and Yeah! It's working! Adblock edge is great!!!This review is for a previous version of the add-on (126.96.36.199-signed).
This one works Rated 4 out of 5 stars
I accidentally got into fullscreen mode and tried to use esc to get out. It didn't work and I had to use the help forum to find out how to get out. So I wanted to change esc so I wouldn't have that problem again. (What program doesn't use esc to get out of fullscreen--other than firefox?)
This addon lets esc be the fullscreen toggle. The addon at http://mozilla.dorando.at/readme.html doesn't appear to work on firefox 3.
