When there's a ":" in the page title for the youtube video it generates an invalid filename with some invisible invalid character. When the video title name ends with a "." the file extension is missing.
A smaller issue is that it can't always determine the filesize of the videos, which is a neat an unique feature BTW.
This would be really could if the addon could browse useragentstring.com, to load UA strings from there. Because that site has up to date user agent strings.
Or an autoload a constantly updated xml list would be about as good too. But I don't know of any such lists...
It doesn't fully work. I still get "moz-action:switchtab,..." in the urlbar, when I press down to delete the url. And of course the url doesn't actually get deleted, only disappears and its there the next time. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (0.0.2). It works fine to completely disable switch to tab as said earlier. An option to completely disable switching would be nice so it wouldn't compare url-s needlessly.
A simple gui would be welcome to. With a checkbox for completely disabling and a textbox for the regex expressions.
A context menu icon would be nice so I could find it faster. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (1).
It does what it says but you still can't delete the current page from the history by simply pressing down and then del. So it doesn't fix everything that switch to tab messed up.This review is for a previous version of the add-on (0.0.1).
It really needs an option to configure tool-tip delay.
Also the favicon could be showed based on domain name match and not by exact url match.
Doesn't seem to work for livejasmin...
It works for the annoying zedo.com popups I had on one site.
I think this extension would be more useful if it had a (preferably configurable) hotkey. Also the settings window is not right. I get an "about:config" text above the checkbox, which is clearly wrong. And a checkbox with a "Do not ask me again" text.
A restart confirmation dialog would be nice, for preventing accidental restarts. Also you can't change or disable the keyboard shortcut, which would be useful in some situations. For example I remember ubuntu using the current shortcut for something so it didn't work with quickrestart.
This has to be the most needless addon ever.
It simply loads the
page in a new window. In which you can't even use the ffx's built in search functionality
I was looking for a "Smart Middle Click" for firefox 4, which breaks it totally. Unfortunately this breaks it in the exact same way.
I really wish there were an alternative. It keeps getting messed up. Everything got enabled and I always get multiple separators. The setting window is way to cluttered and small. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (1.2.6).
The line separators are missing from the sidebar and library in the last two versions. Why? They were useful, made it esasier not to mistake lines. But now they are gone. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (1.8.52).
I've been using this addon for while now. It's a good idea to combine the progressbar with the address bar, because it doesn't waste any space on the statusbar thi way. Also it looked a little odd when the numerous icons other addons placed on the the location bar pushed the progress bar near the middle. Now that the somewhat annoying bug with the probressbar not correctly updating when swiching tabs is fixed this addon is perfect. Also, the new smoothness makes it much more pleasing to the eye. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (1.0.8).
Too bad it doesn't show upload speed. :(This review is for a previous version of the add-on (1.5.3).
Does what it's supposed to. But if you use keywords for bookmarks, this extension will prevent you from using them. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (2).
