BROKEN/UNMAINTAINED Rated 1 out of 5 stars
it would be nice to have ONE working extension that provides this functionality, but they all appear to be broken
in this case, changes made when editing the regExp for a domain are not saved
also the search terms are modified when opening the next page of the results on google
other minor issues as well
could be better Rated 4 out of 5 stars
could add highlighting to the scroll bar as other extensions do
more importantly, word button are forgotten after browser restart - you have to click in the search bar, then click outside of it to re-buttonize the words
EDIT: thanks to the dev for his reply ;)
doesn't allow to edit search URL parameters Rated 2 out of 5 stars
doesn't allow to edit search URL parameters - for an extension this comprehensive, this is suprisingThis user has a previous review of this add-on.
broken Rated 2 out of 5 stars
this extension seems to be broken and unmaintained for some time (last updated in 2011)
sometimes search engine properties get reset and changes are not always saved
OUTSTANDING Rated 5 out of 5 stars
so far i have not noticed any conflicts with other extensions - much appreciated, especially since similar add-ons are all either broken/unmaintained or limited in features
very nice! Rated 4 out of 5 stars
works well, simple
i might suggest adding a separator under the recent/most visited folders
i would also like to see someone do this using the new start panel since v29 - would be nice to add bookmarks (bookmark toolbar items at least) to the start panel instead of having another toolbar button
and just when i thought my life was over... Rated 5 out of 5 stars
FINALLY found a suitable replacement for the smart text/smart location extension that actually works (i think i've tried them all), and works well, and doesn't break other extensions!
this is the ONLY extension that, like smart location, handles url parameters and sub-domains properly (unlike All About Location Bar and others), allowing you to go from "domain.com/dir/?=parm" to "domain.com/dir" and "sub.domain.com" to "domain.com"
and you don't have to click buttons to do it, like Uppity, Navigate Up, Dir Up, etc..
needs work Rated 2 out of 5 stars
it doesn't display some icons, such as for FireFTP, cPanel, NewsFox, etc - i don;t know how it displays icons, but it is obviously different than native FF
would be nice to set a background color
it should auto-set the height and columns (based on position after drag/drop)
support more than just bookmark toolbar menu items
drag and drop results in opening a bookmark and simply doesn't work well because the ext insists on keeping the number of items each column even
losing its appeal Rated 3 out of 5 stars
since ff v29, it is apparently no longer possible to display bookmarks (such as bookmark toolbar items) in the menu, thus you cannot achieve the results as pictured in the description.
it would be great if the ability to add bookmarks to the menu was added, though this has been mentioned in the support forum
very nice add-on, just needs a little polish Rated 4 out of 5 stars
i like the way it works for the most part - in-line translation is working well so far
would be better if, when the translate window is open (when selected text is translated), any text highlighted would automatically be translated
FYI, when plugin.state.flash is set to 1 (always ask), it seems to break this ext. (win 7 ff 28)
bookmark toolbar items Rated 3 out of 5 stars
as per the developer comments in the forum...
"Bookmarks toolbar items is not supported in FX 29+."
it would be nice if they were, or another method of adding bookmark icons to the menu were implemented - this is one of my most used features of the menu
SPYWARE Rated 1 out of 5 stars
listed as a tracking extension by howtogeek

works ok, but doesn't handle domains properly Rated 4 out of 5 stars
you can't click to remove a sub-domain, so you can't go from "sub.domain.com/dir/file" to "domain.com"
smart location was the best, but it's no longer maintained
Needs a little bit of work Rated 3 out of 5 stars
i like the add-on, but the truncate and go logic applies to domains as well as the rest of the url - this makes it impossible to go from sub.domain.com to domain.com, because everything after sub. is removedThis review is for a previous version of the add-on (22.214.171.124-signed).
broken - unmaintained Rated 2 out of 5 stars
does not save custom search settings after browser restart
this is the same dev that has SearchWP extension and he seems rather unresponsive regarding fixing problems, which is a shame since both are highly useful when combined together
would be nice to see a SINGLE extension that does both
seems to work well, needs a little polish Rated 4 out of 5 stars
no bug reports here - i know - but i'm doing so anyway as it is totally inconvenient to register for some site which i will likely never use again EVERY time i find a bug in an ext. - i wish the extension devs and mozilla worked together to make it more easy for users to file bug reports here!
ABE seems to conflict with the NoScript toolbar icon context menu in that it can cause about 1/2 of the menu items to not display - something i ran into a long time ago with ABP i think.
if the malware domains list is supposed to block access to those sites, then it appears something is very wrong, as it does not do so (and that subscription is the 1st in the chain)
Works well - needs polish :) Rated 4 out of 5 stars
would suggest placing the context menu in the proper place, below 'copy link location'
would also be nice to be able to draw a rectangular selection like Snap Links Plus does
like it, but it needs work Rated 4 out of 5 stars
it can cause quite a long delay when r-clicking (without moving cursor) until context menu appears, but apparently only on some sites
wow - v5 is quite a piece of work! Rated 4 out of 5 stars
just a couple little things i don't like...
i think the url in the address bar should be used for the various queries, rather than the url of the loaded page - i think that would be quite useful in a number of cases - along with that, the icon would need to be visible at all times so one could enter an address in a blank tab and preform a query
the flag icons still bug me a bit - the standard icons in the address bar are all monochrome (on win at least) and i think it would be good to have an option of monochrome flags
with as many services as there are, and perhaps more to come, i think it's time to add the ability to better organize them with folders and separators
consider adding ability to use '\n' or '\r\n' or something that will be converted to a return/line feed - useful for "copystring:" operations
great add-on other than those minor niggles :)
