Quick Gestures

Cannot install. Rated 3 out of 5 stars

why can't this be installed in firefox Android Beta 20? no install button for this addon. btw, sorry for using review for a bug report, but twitter is not an acceptable dwveloper contact.

FoxyTunes

Rated 2 out of 5 stars

Too small to be usable. Screenshots show larger controls, on top. With firefox 6, it is stuck on the bottom status bar with TINY TINY icons that can't be hit without a lot of effort.

Google+ Manager

CPU Hog #1 Rated 1 out of 5 stars

I normally don't worry about CPU Hogs, as I have a lot of CPU to go around. But with firefox actually being jerky, and youtube videos completely unwatchable, I had to find the problem. Turns out - Google+ Manager was causing 100% CPU load on at least one core of my CPU at any given time.

It is OUT OF CONTROL, and your performance WILL suffer. This addon is trash.

FoxToPhone

Rated 1 out of 5 stars

App simply does not work. It asks for my google password, but the links never arrive on my phone. Yes I have Froyo and have the apk installed on my phone correctly.

I agree with others, if it isn't working, what exactly *is* it doing with our usernames and passwords?

Chromifox Extreme Carbon

Almost There Rated 4 out of 5 stars

Good, as long as you don't make the mistake of installing the separate download of Chromifox Companion (I thought you had to)..

Also, the right edge of the search box is cut off, looks very jarring. I see in the SS that the developer doesn't USE a search box, obviously since Chrome doesn't have one, but the graphics for the search box should be fixed just as well.

Chromifox Companion

Ruins Chromifox Rated 1 out of 5 stars

Don't use if you don't want to break Chromifox! I'm using Chromifox Extreme Carbon. I wanted the tab-bar on the titlebar LIKE THIS SHOWS IN THE SS, so I installed this. I didn't get that. So I uninstalled this - and now Chromifox is BORKED. Before installing this, my tabs were at least at the top, now they're below the bookmark bar again, and I have a BLANK BAR at the top I can't make go away with Chromifox that was not there before installing this.

Repeat, do NOT install if you don't want to break stuff!

FOXSCAPE

Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Basic, retro, what else could be asked for?

Firefox Sync for Firefox 3.5/3.6

Rated 1 out of 5 stars

Great idea, horrible implementation. No way to recover passphrase? Destroys data by design! Not only that, I was pretty sure I had the right passphrase, but I kept getting "Error while syncing" on the new firefox on my second computer. Back to the first computer, sync works. But not on the other. Try resetting the passphrase so I could resync from comp #1, and it gives "Error resetting passphrase"... have been going round with this for an hour and I can't get my data from one computer to another. Sure am glad I didn't depend on this as an actual BACKUP of any data, this is a piece of garbage.

FoxWorld

Nice Rated 4 out of 5 stars

Very nice... couple of minor spacing issues with icons on my toolbars, also if I hide the searchglass on the google search box, it cuts the end of the box off which it doesn't do in other themes. Overall a nice, clean job. Sometimes flash is over-rated. Also matches the new AMO theme well :)

Auto Dial

Rated 2 out of 5 stars

Good idea, but there are better available. The interface is WAY too cluttered and disorganized for me to find anything useful.

Office

Nice Rated 5 out of 5 stars

My favorite 'fox theme. Goes great with the "Think Green" MyColors from Stardock also.

Only problem - no thunderbird theme to match!

YesScript

Better Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Those who rate this down claiming it does what NoScript already does, aren't getting the point. Javascript is very useful and well-used on many sites. NoScript breaks many of them, and it is often difficult to whitelist appropriately.

With YesScript, you don't have to. You ONLY block the sites that are mis-using javascript, and leave all the others alone. That is MUCH better.

Office

Rated 5 out of 5 stars

I was a bit dubious at first... then I set large icons and restarted (restart is a must for themes to switch large/small sometimes).

This looks awesome now - the default theme should be more like this than what they actually did!

MyBookmarks

Not so good Rated 1 out of 5 stars

Doesn't seem to be usable .... mysterious as to how to actually activate it - and the website is in japanese, so english users have no help.

As it is completely unusable with no CLUE how to actually activate it, I must give 1 star.

Just Dark (for Firefox 3)

Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Great theme - makes it look like it is supposed to!

Tab Preview

Rated 3 out of 5 stars

Nice, but it doesn't work properly in 3.0b5. Ignores the setting for preview size - gives an almost postage stamp sized preview when running high res.

MacOSX Theme

Rated 3 out of 5 stars

Looks nice, but has some serious rough edges. I've seen the true OSX theme for ff3, and this doesn't measure up. I also am getting a broad white line between the bookmark toolbar and the tab bar.

Also, not compatible with locationbar2.

This review is for a previous version of the add-on (0.4.2).

auto Tagging

Rated 1 out of 5 stars

Doesn't do anything as far as I can tell. Can't even find the dialog.

This review is for a previous version of the add-on (1.0).

Gnome Classic

Rated 4 out of 5 stars

Very nice iconset, but as others have said it is missing some bits. The tabs are very basic. Thankfully it fits into the basic theme I have running in WindowBlinds very well, may work for you.

This review is for a previous version of the add-on (3.3.0.4).

Moz98
