My Reviews

Multi Links

Nice Rated 4 out of 5 stars

I installed this one because Snap Links Plus no longer works for me on FF 25.0It does what Snap Links does only I wish it would show me how many links I am selecting (Yeah, I know, lame).Other than that Multi-Links works for me.

Snap Links Plus

No longer works Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Snap Links Plus no longer works with FireFox 25.0I tried it on several sites and no go.I uninstalled it, cleared everything then tried reinstalling it and it still will not work.Too bad because it was really a great add-on.I should add that both Snap Links Plus and Snap Links Plus beta stopped working for me.

Ok..another edit:

I re-installed Snap Links Plus 2.3.4b3 again and now it works.
STILL..this shouldn't be happening when FF is updated so I changed my rating to a five star again only because it works now. :)

Adblock Edge

One tiny issue Rated 4 out of 5 stars

While I am glad to have a newer, less bloated version of AdBlock Plus..this thing now blocks out right-clicking on my bookmarks.So...can anyone help on this?ThanksI just had to switch back to AdBlock Plus and the issue with the right-click menu for my bookmarks cleared up. How odd...I'll switch back once this issue has been fixed.Sorry

Another update as of 9-11-13:
One huge problem I had with ABE is that it messed with my other add-ons like GreaseMonkey which made it constantly bring up its Welcome screen and kept putting its icon back on my toolbar even though I took it off repeatedly.

ABE also eliminated my preferences for my SnapLinks too.
I still do not know if I need to first disable AdBlock first before installing ABE or leave it until ABE is installed then disable AdBlock so as of now I had to go back to AdBlock Plus and all my issues disappeared.

Sorry to be a pain here but ABE is a bit too quirky right now.

NoScript Security Suite

Rated 3 out of 5 stars

I have been using, until recently, NoScript for a couple of years or so. On the one hand it was nice being able to block javascript and all but after a while it became a pain to use if I was on a shopping website then I had to always click on "Allow this page" or "Temporarily Allow All This Page" and so forth.

It became a pain for the rest of my family who were doing research or filling out forms for purchase only to have realized that they forgot to allow the useful aspects of the site.

Please don't misunderstand me, NoScript is a good addon but even whitelisting everything in my book marks didn't always do the trick. It can be troublesome to use and it needs a few more options to allow for better control so one can use the websites inherent Javascript functions while blocking outside ones.

QuickJava (For FF Versions 56 AND BELOW only)

Rated 4 out of 5 stars

Though I have only used QuickJava for a few hours, I like the ease of use.

Most everything on my book marks is "whitelisted" anyways but being able to easily block certain aspects of a website is very nice.

I would, however, like to see a option that allows for the use of Javascript for just that site while blocking other, non-functional stuff instead of it being an "all or nothing deal."

Anyways..nice add-on and I look forward to any tweaks that may come in the future.
