RefControl

Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Since A$$trali$ came out the referer display is no longer available unless you use Classic Theme Restorer or Vimperator (probably Pentadactyl too).

I think you mentioned here that you didn't want to deal with A$$trali$ but what would be a great idea is to have the referer as the tooltip.
Right now if you hover over the button it just says "RefControl", maybe you can change that to the referer.

Just a suggestion. I use Vimperator so it doesn't matter to me. v32 (currently Beta) puts large back/forward/refresh/bookmark buttons in the right-click menu, so all the millions of people in the world who wear glasses/contacts will soon be able to use Firefox again hassle-free.

Greenhouse

Rated 2 out of 5 stars

This is constantly locking up the browser and giving "unresponsive script" errors. ("allaregreen" is listed in the error code.)

I would love to have a working addon like this, please fix the bugs! :(

Pentadactyl

I hope this great addon works as before when Australis is shoved down the ESR branch's throat this summer.

VimFx

Rated 5 out of 5 stars

This is a great addon. I'd love to see it extended to Seamonkey.

Seamonkey is experiencing a revival from people confused/frustrated with the upcoming Australis changes and the bugginess Mozilla refuses to fix (Australis will likely be Mozilla's Windows 8).

New addons are being made for/extended to Seamonkey, and I wish I could use VimFx again.

Classic Theme Restorer (Customize UI)

Classic Theme Restorer's "biggest" advantage Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Why should I have to SQUINT MY EYES to look at a ONE SQUARE CENTIMETER STOP/REFRESH BUTTON???

How fast can you stop a MALICIOUS REDIRECT if you have to SQUINT YOUR EYES TO FIND THE BUTTON?? (and NOT CLICK ON THE ADJACENT URL BAR BY MISTAKE because YOU ARE NOT FAST ENOUGH WITH THE MOUSE!!!)

Why does Mozilla want to FORCE US TO SQUINT OUR EYES AND BE ULTRA-QUICK WITH OUR MICE TO FIND SUCH A CRUCIAL BUTTON???

Mozilla ignores our questions.
THE ANSWER = CLASSIC THEME RESTORER!!!
Keep up the good work!

Flagfox

Rated 4 out of 5 stars

I haven't tested any of Flagfox's other features, but having a little flag icon next to the site is nice to look at. Thank you!

BetterPrivacy

Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Even when Firefox started handling LSOs, there are things BetterPrivacy can do that Firefox doesn't (ping tracking, auto delete, preferences LSO, etc). So if you want Better Privacy, get this addon!

skiptco

Rated 3 out of 5 stars

With Twitter's recent partial redesign, skipt.co doesn't work in every situation anymore. 3 stars for now, will raise rating when you take care of this. I don't see any other addons on Firefox which do this (only Google Privacy with regard to search engine sites), so keep up the good work!

VimFx

Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Great keyboard shortcuts for Vim users. With Vimperator and Pentadactyl there's a risk of making fatal mistakes - VimFx sticks to the basics, and includes the Vimperator/Pentadactyl "Follow" key too!

Google Privacy

Rated 5 out of 5 stars

This addon is great - search engines do not need to know what you click on. Thank you!

SettingSanity

Setting Sanity! Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Thank you for restoring sanity to Firefox. Removing these features was an insane idea, and Firefox's upcoming Australis is even more insane. To bring sanity back to your browser, use SettingSanity and (when Firefox 29 is released to Stable) Classic Theme Restorer.

Fireclam

Rated 3 out of 5 stars

This is a great addon, and it works with both Linux and Windows (ClamWin).

Windows ClamWin is not a real-time scanner, so it can't hurt to have it installed, it updates daily and won't interfere with your commercial anti-virus. Fireclam automatically runs a scan on each download, so it's a good addon to have.

Goes great with Linux too, as Linux ClamAV is not real-time by default.

Only problem I have with this addon is that it treats "Open from this current location" as a download, so if you want to externally view a PDF file this way, Fireclam will scan at the same time you open the file - if it's a malicious PDF, it's too late. Developers might want to look into this, so I have given it 3 stars.

RefControl

Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Very essential privacy addon. I like to set it to "Forge" by default and then add important sites (like stores) as "Normal" exceptions. RefControl has been around for a long time, and has always worked well. Thank you!

Adblock Edge

Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Thank you so much for not selling out to special interests like AdWh*res Plus did! We need a utility to block all ads with our own exceptions - not having Google, Sedo, and Amazon pay someone off! Thank you and remember, always use Adblock EDGE!

Classic Theme Restorer (Customize UI)

Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Thank you so much for this addon! Please never ever abandon it! Having no place to put the addon tabs or customize the URL bar is terrible. (A teeny-tiny refresh/stop so you have to strain your eyes quickly to stop a malicious URL?) Thank you so much!

The Addon Bar (Restored)

Rated 5 out of 5 stars

OH THANK YOU! THANK YOU SO MUCH! I WISH I COULD CHANGE THE URL BAR TOO AND MAKE THE REFRESH BIGGER AND SEPARATE THE STOP & REFRESH AND PUT IT ON THE OTHER SIDE. THIS NEW INTERFACE IS TRULY AN ABOMINATION!!!
