Thanks Rated 5 out of 5 stars

I can understand the developer's point of view and I wish him the best in whatever else he should undertake. I guess I should be glad I didn't see this software before today because I don't like constantly getting accustomed to using a good piece of software, fall "in love" with it, then can no longer use it because of a Windows update or a browser making changes that no longer allows the software to be compatible with the browser or the newer version of an operating system.

New tab toolbar button

New Tab Button - Thanks! Rated 5 out of 5 stars

This the next best thing to the original tab button that was built in. It won't sit to the right side of the tab like the original, but it works and I'm happy. Also, to the person who seemed unhappy that the add-on doesn't also open his home page as well, even the original "new tab" button didn't function also as a "home" button. It only opened new tabs. There is a "home" button already available. The only thing I didn't like was in the 16th version of Firefox, the new tab when opened would show come kind of menu with a bunch of tiles of the last 15 or so (more of less) of the previous pages that had been visited. I didn't like that so I got rid of it and set it up to show a blank page instead every time I clicked to get a new tab. Thank you Mr Stanos for this add-on. Happy Days!

Flash Video Downloader - YouTube HD Download [4K]

Old Lady Needs Help Rated 5 out of 5 stars

When I first downloaded this software I was able to download and convert videos from many other sites than youtube, to my delight! I was able to automatically convert them as I downloaded, automatically, to the wmv. format and then watch the videos on my Windows Media Player or the VLC, but something has happened in the meantime that the software has stopped working properly and will now only convert videos to MP4. which, when I try to view them, they now have just audio and no picture at all. I removed the software, then reinstalled, uninstalled and reinstalled it (several times), it but I'm still having the same problem; and there are no options for choosing which format I want to convert the video to when I am downloading. They automatically convert to MP4. Can anyone help, because I was so very much satisfied with the software until it stopped allowing me to use the wmv. format or the other format that works with the VLC Media Player as well as my Windows Media Player. AVI is the other conversion format that worked (if I remember correctly.)

Note: I still give it 5 stars because when it did work, it worked perfectly, so I know I must be doing something wrong. Also, do I need to ask for the help I need in another area other than here? Thanks to anyone who can help me or direct me to the area where I need to be.

One more observation: I do not, any more, see the screens that are shown here on this site as screenshots to help users to choose how this program can work, none that will allow for me to choose any of the available options that are supposed to be available for using the features. Not one screen shot has the advertised options available to me for tweaking or choosing any of the several options that this program is supposed to have.

My Search Toolbar

My apologies Rated 5 out of 5 stars

I now see why the "Powered By PC" is a part of the software and is included with the search boxes. I now wish that just the one search box and the "Powered By PC" logo were the only visible portions included. If this is confusing, blame it on my newly growing senility ;-). This is a great add-on.

My Search Toolbar

Space used Rated 5 out of 5 stars

I added this nice piece of software, but because of the space it takes up at the top of my computer, I'm going to uninstall it. It's a good toolbar mainly because it has the Google search toolbar included. Firefox, in their arrogance, decided to keep its customers from installing the once-available Google toolbar onto their latest browser versions—a toolbar that I, personally, prefer—and once was able to use with the earlier versions of the Firefox browser. If this toolbar were able to be tweaked to have just the search engine portion of it visible (as in how the regular search boxes are designed, with one box, for typing in the site to be searched, rather than three boxes (plus the logo that says, "Powered by PC"), I would keep it.

However, this add-on is a very promising and encouraging piece of software to me, a heavy Google search engine user. Thanks to the developer and creator for this contribution.
