Unload tabs and put them on your 'bar tab' to conserve system resources.
This add-on is not compatible with your version of Firefox because of the following:
Makes it much easier to explore the wide array of powerful internal customization options available. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (1.20.2014120302).
It's nice to see visual feedback when loading pages.
Works well for standard links but not redirect links like those found in search results.
Much needed relief from distracting animations.
Fantastic idea and implementation but suffers from performance problems with large numbers of tabs.
Rearranging tabs, dragging and dropping is clunky and slow. Dragging large numbers of tabs is best avoided.
The tree structure often doesn't retain its order between sessions and can get muddled into a mess.
Addonfox is more customizable than ever! Just install yet another addon to get basic functionality which may slow down startup, update late, become incompatible, abandoned, introduce bugs or even security vulnerabilities! This review is for a previous version of the add-on (1.1.8).
Even though it makes imgur links take a little longer to show ["Checking image"] and gifs take longer to start playing, the end result is worth it. No more slideshow loading or premature looping, when it starts playing it plays all the way through perfectly. The ability to pause, scan through the frames, see the play length and when it loops are all very useful features.
Now if only imgur would natively support short HTML5 videos...
Recently I had a system crash and FF28 stopped restoring the last session or allowing the layout to be customized. By systematically disabling addons I managed to narrow the problem down to this addon. Reinstalling it solved the problem however the risk of this happening again is not worth it. I had the Firefox button in the navbar when it happened, it is probably wise to leave the button in its default location.
Love the sight circles, no more hunting for the highlighted text. Slow performance when typing is the main down side. Would also like to be able to integrate the Find Bar into the Nav Bar so it doesn't cover parts of the page, drag and drop it there like other toolbar controls.
Firefox history options are lacking:
1. Disable history completely.
Some history comes in handy.
2. Manually clear history.
Only lets you clear everything or recent history, manual operations are a chore.
3. Clear history when Firefox closes.
May want to keep more history than a short session and less history than a very long session.
Making history expire over time seems like the best balance between privacy and usability and is a sorely absent feature.

Roomy Bookmarks Toolbar has more features without the ads.
Very nice and customizable addon. I disabled 'Show bookmark names on mouse over' because it made the icons dynamically move around which was confusing and could easily lead to clicking on the wrong bookmark. I like the ability to hide the toolbar and make it part of the page, so when the toolbar appears or disappears the page doesn't move. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (1.4.4).
Unloading old tabs makes a lot of sense for long sessions and should be default behavior. Only problem is it always refreshes tabs when loading which can cause page results to change while UnloadTab has the option to load from cache.
I know this is 'lite' but it really needs auto unload.
Very slick and cool without titlebar and using Tree Style Tab.This review is for a previous version of the add-on (2.7.3).
Absolutely essential. [promote] [promote] [promote]This review is for a previous version of the add-on (188.8.131.52).
