Privacy on the internet, but not on your computer Rated 2 out of 5 stars
This addon stores the websites you visit in a json file that resides in your firefox profile. Unless you're running a portable version of firefox from an encrypted volume or are using whole disk encryption, this json file is stored in plain text just like the rest of your Firefox profile. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (1.8.1).
Not a developer but was helpful to me while trying to figure out a problem. Rated 5 out of 5 stars
This addon got better for a time Rated 1 out of 5 stars
Just suffered a total loss of its data, though. Hundreds of links gone. Can't trust it. But go ahead and download it and give it five star reviews, then forget to come back here and rate it again once you've lost your data. That way we can make sure as many people are as miserable as possible. This user has 2 previous reviews of this add-on.
Handy, but... Rated 1 out of 5 stars
I'm not using this if I have to sign into Google or Facebook. Deal breaker. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (316).
Too Many Bugs Rated 4 out of 5 stars
Edit - It seems a fix will be coming soon.

Offending Hotkey Combination: Print Screen"
Get this error upon install into new profile. I don't think this addon should be trying to register new hotkeys without my permission.
Still cannot annotate an image with free draw and upload to imgur.
Sometimes the interface freezes and there's no way to exit, causing you to force quit the browser in task manager.
I'm uninstalling this and going back to ShareX, which may not be a part of Firefox but it does work and is also open source.
All that said, this is a promising add on with a friendly and responsive developer. I hope he irons everything out someday.
In response to developer's response:
I tried the new XPI. Either I'm the stupidest human being alive, or annotating and uploading to imgur doesn't work.
I do not think registering a hotkey should be default behavior, especially the print screen key.
I love this addon... Rated 5 out of 5 stars
...but I cannot figure out how to do some things that should be simple. I've drawn a circle on a webpage with the addon but then it will not upload and close.
Edit in response to dev's response:
Thanks! Looking forward to the update.
I'm on 18b but regular 18 didn't help.

There are better addons for this which do not require an expensive license.
Whoops Rated 5 out of 5 stars
It does work. I don't know how to edit my earlier review. AMO has changed something, apparently. I had a conflict with another addon. As far as I can tell this works as it should. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (0.1.1). This user has a previous review of this add-on.
Doesn't do anything Rated 1 out of 5 stars
Doesn't seem to work at all. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (0.1.1).
No longer intuitive to make a delayed full screen shot. Rated 5 out of 5 stars
Still giving you five stars because I know you take feedback seriously and will fix it.
I can't take a delayed screenshot. Expected behavior: shift click on the button, the toolbar comes up and allows me to select which monitor, everything goes away and five seconds later a screen shot is made.
What happens: Shift-click on button, toolbar comes up five seconds later. I select the monitor and monitors 1 and two are greyed out. It won't do anything else, or is so unclear I can't figure it out.
Also if I wanted to select monitor #1 there doesn't appear to be a way to do that. Only all three, or two, or three. No option for monitor one alone.
Hope this helps.
Edit: Tried it again, and it won't take a screen shot at all anymore. I was also mistaken about the monitors. It has the monitors mixed up, and will not allow me to select monitor #2. If I select monitor #2, monitor #1 is actually selected. But it still doesn't do anything.
I miss the old menu. Even though it was confusing at first, when you figured it out it was easy to use. And it knew which of my monitors is which.
Great Update Rated 5 out of 5 stars
Lots of great features, the CHOICE of whether or not to revert back to the old UI (some people don't seem to get it), and all the bug fixes. Great work.
I can't figure out how to catch new tabs but I'll figure it out I'm sure.
Reply to Dev: Thanks, but I have the feeling it's my REGEX that isn't working. I really have no idea what I'm doing with it. I just have to learn enough about REGEX to do this on my own because I'll be doing different things with it. Anyway I've heard the feature works and have no reason to believe it doesn't, so the addon gets a full five stars for me.
Great addon Rated 4 out of 5 stars
Though for some reason it suspends reddit tabs immediately when clicking away from them. A few others, too, even though it's set to wait five minutes in my preferences. I'll have to disable this until that's fixed. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (1.0.2016020401).
Thanks for updating! Rated 5 out of 5 stars
A very simple but useful addon. Well I don't know whether or not it is simple to make, but it does make going through bookmarks quite a bit easier. This user has a previous review of this add-on.
I think it may be broken Rated 4 out of 5 stars
When I restart the browser, tabs that were unloaded come back blank. Sometimes they'll have the old favicon, but the tab title is "New Tab" and if you click on it, it will not load a page. Was a great addon for anyone who used it. And I'm not sure it's broken. Maybe it's Session Manger or some conflict.
February 28 update broke the addon for me Rated 5 out of 5 stars
The dropdown menu for the Tab Groups icon no longer appeared. Going back to the previous version solved the problem. It's a very handy addon...makes it much easier to navigate through tab groups (if the icon works). This review is for a previous version of the add-on (0.9.8).
Handy addon Rated 5 out of 5 stars
Great extension. It does a lot of what ShareX does right from Firefox. It's also under active development so it looks like it's going to get more features, too. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (1.5).
Very Helpful Rated 5 out of 5 stars
I'm not sure why the native Firefox UI doesn't expose its profile manager. Profiles are very handy for lots of things. This addon doesn't do everything that Firefox's profile manager does, but it doesn't really need to. It handles switching, creating/deleting, and naming profiles just fine. And it looks good, too.
This version doesn't work on 44 Rated 5 out of 5 stars
When this addon worked, it was a simple yet very handy addtion to Firefox and it easily deserved five stars.
I hope a working signed version is made available soon, as there was an unsigned update released on 12/15/15, about six weeks ago.
Terrific Addon Rated 5 out of 5 stars
I have never had the negative experiences that others have had (hanging or whatever). I'm think it could be that some people are using the same profiles they've had since Firefox 1.0 and maybe everything would work better for them if they'd begin anew every now and then (which FEBE can help you do, by the way).
The only issue I have with FEBE is that it's a little bit heavy on system resources. Without it installed, my current profile uses about 350 or 360 MB of RAM with a single tab open. With FEBE installed and the same tab loaded, it uses 400 MB. That may not seem like a lot, but imagine if every addon used that much memory! Things would bog down pretty quickly.
Of course maybe it's not possible to do it any differently, so I won't dock a star for that. The solution is to disable FEBE until you want to backup, then re-enable it. Of course there are easier ways to backup a profile but they don't do it the same way FEBE does. I like the backups it creates.
Anyway it's well designed and easy to setup. I've personally never had it fail in the six months I've been using it. I didn't find the restore menu to be particularly intuitive, but the author has a website and with it I didn't have any trouble restoring a backup.
Does not work with FF 43 Rated 5 out of 5 stars
Developer no longer wants to develop it. If he replies and says this is an "unjust" review, what kind of rating am I supposed to give it when it not only doesn't work but makes my search bar disappear all together. It breaks the browser.
Response to dev:
>Version 5.6.2 Released August 24, 2015 69.9 kB Works with Firefox 35.0 and later
That's the information Mozilla has and why it didn't disable the addon when I updated to r43. Nonethess I'll change my review so that people on ESR can easily see what kind of add on it used to be: very functional, very helpful. I regret you've stopped development.
I hope someone takes you up on your offer. It's a long time before they deprecate XUL and so on. And maybe they'd be interesting in writing it to use future APIs.
