Syncing with Xmarks is always hit and miss when doing a simple sync/merge and the option to simply upload bookmarks from your "golden" machine and download to the others requires going to their website.
Eversync does a better job of this, but they, too, hide the simple upload/download actions under "options". Why?
To make it worse, when I do a full download of my bookmarks to another machine, it gets them all, but it randomly re-arranges the order of the folders. Sigh...
No matter how I set options in SS, Tab Utilities, FF, the latest version of this won't open the bookmark in a new tab, always the current one. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (188.8.131.52-signed).
When you paste the shortened URL and go, it opens another tab to a malware site.
Tentacles everywhere! Plan to spend a lot of time uninstalling this nonsense. It took two separate tools (Revo Uninstaller and CCleaner) to get most of it, but still bits lingered in the registry and in directories. The extension itself has NO UNINSTALL button and uses a false ID so that you will have difficulty finding its extension file, which is in a non-standard place! Software developers who behave this way should be banned from providing extensions.
