In Firefox 15, on beta channel, ILO starts up normally, but none of the settings does anything, images will be loaded regardless of configuration setttings, even if set to not load, or load cached.
I hope we can see a fix soon. ILO is THE extension that makes Firefox useful.
Wonderfully useful addon. This is one of the examples of why Firefox is great.
0.41 seems to run slow for me, though. It takes a long time to traverse every tab (I keep a large number in Panorama groups), while 0.40 does it instantly. Is this some regression? I am using Beta channel (8 at the moment) on Linux.
0.2.1 prevents usage from KDE sessions. There is one plasmoid(widget) that implements the Unity launcher API, so it cannot be used with the changes. I'll patch my own local version for this, but just letting you know. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (0.1.5). This user has a previous review of this add-on.
Great tool, but seem it has stopped working in Oneiric. Unity doesn't seem to be broken, the API still works as expected. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (0.1.5).
It doesn't work anymore in 8.0a.This review is for a previous version of the add-on (2.0.7).
Extremely satisfied so far. The search is quite fast and only produces a blip on the CPU unlike the regular history search, which is comparatively slower when reaching for the same input as in Recall Monkey.
I am also satisfied to know that it doesn't depend on online components so it's safer and more reliable if disconnected (for references while writing a paper for example).
Just a tiny issue, the date narrowing works fine, but there is a little visual glitch as seen here http://i.imgur.com/lO8cO.jpg, the radio button doesn't update to the selected option.
As for the date narrowing, it'd be really nice to have a X days setting for things like 45 days or so. It'd be really helpful.
Another little thing. This is practically meaningless for users that can customize the menus or know their hotkeys, but it'd be nice to move the menu entry from "File" to "History", but it's a minor nitpick.
Oh, and closing up, is it possible to have to use search keywords or have it as a search engine (like google/yahoo/youtube/etc and such)? The former would be great for keyword nuts like me, and having it listed as an opensearch engine would allow programs that interact with firefox's search engines (by scanning the relevant folders, such as quicksilver-like Kupfer, or even quicksearching from the search bar or right-clicking words) to perform quick history searches from them. That would elevate the usefulness much further.
(BTW I tried the keyword method, but I only get a snow-white screen...)
I have found this to be really useful. However, does it do everything locally? I'd hate to end up with my search data on the cloud...This review is for a previous version of the add-on (5).
Excellent, somehow unmatched addon. The possibility to load image-heavy sites without images makes the browser much faster and responsive, as well as allowing to show only the content the user desires, saving bandwidth.
It is my most missed addon in Firefox 4. I hope it keeps helping users when 3.x gets deprecated.
Doesn't work with latest youtube changes. I hope a fix is coming soon. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (4.7.2).
