Allows you to keep separate keyboard layout for each tab and url bar
This add-on is not compatible with your version of Firefox because of the following:
Good and simple addon, but still has some bugs.
1. It opens bookmarks in new tab in background on middle-click (should in foreground)
2. Bookmarks don't have context menus.
I can suggest to hack into browser.xul/browser.js and simply open the same menu that opens from Bookmarks menu on menubar. Button from Toolbar Buttons extension seems to do it this way and currently it's better alternative for me. However installing your small addon would be much better than installing Toolbar Buttons just for ONE button.
And please some link to support section. MozillaZine has forum for support threads: http://forums.mozillazine.org/viewforum.php?f=48
Good luck in development. Will be waiting for updates.
Would definitely use this addon if it had "Minimize to tray on startup" option (like MinimizeToTray Enhancer) and option to disable "Restore Window" and always open blank one. This would provide real "turbo" mode.
Also I still don't understand how restoring windows works. If I close one window it can be restored but if I close two windows sequentially none of them can't be restored.
And yes, there is nothing about FireTray on the website you have link to.
Everything else seems to work smoothly. Nice work!
Everything works nice but version 0.7.4 now adds an icon to subject column indicating the message was redirected. Probably it is rather useful but not for me.
I used it to send my mail back to POP3 server after I accidentally deleted it (as recommended in Mozillazine KB). All the messages got this icon and I had to manually edit Inbox file to get rid of them (I cleared all X-Mozilla-Keys fields).
It would be nice to have an option to disable marking messages as redirected for current or all operations.
Surely nice for developers. The only thing I do hate about it is that I can only set all the debug preferences on or off. I don't actually need "disable_xul_cache" but if I change it to false it will be reset to true after restart. I have to edit extensiondevOverlay.js manually every time I reinstall it :-(This review is for a previous version of the add-on (0.3.0.20080526).
1.Most annoying thing about this extension is that its menuitems are shown on the top of the menus. I think they should be in separate "section" somewhere in the middle.
2.Options to hide menuitems should be separate for image menu and whole page menu I think
3.Hiding menuitems still doesn't work: can hide only "Show Picture" and "Show All Pictures", others are always visible
4.Russian locale (ru-RU) has lots of mistakes. I've translated it more correctly. You can contact me http://forums.mozillazine.org/profile.php?mode=viewprofile&u=314225
