Orkut Helper is a small extension for your Mozilla Firefox browser that will make your stay on orkut much more pleasant add a lot of useful and interesting features into the website's interface.
This add-on is not compatible with your version of Firefox because of the following:
Great addon till FF25.
Sadly, not working in FF version 26.
But it does not make sense to me, to not rate it high when it was working, & just rate it low, when it stopped working. 4 stars from me. Hopefully, I will remember to convert 4 to 5 stars, when it again starts working on latest firefox. :-)
This is one of the first 4-5 addons I install after fresh install of firefox. Best of its kind. & cannot work without it... :-)
There is however, a small issue (bug?) in latest version, 0.4.0.2.
The url bar is populated with about:newtab when you close the last tab with a hotkey, & chose "do not close window, when last tab was closed by a hotkey"
It's a bit annoying, to manually delete the address bar first, before typing anything. Lot of times, i end up entering
about:newtabgoogle<ctrl+enter> or similar mistakes.
Downgraded to 0.4.0.1 because of this reason.
FF version 12 [& counting ;)]
Close all the tabs in FF.
Select/enable "do not close window, when last tab was closed by a hotkey"
Close last (blank) tab by ctrl+w.
Note: the issue does not repro on all the systems. It happens with some users, does not happen with some others.
Got one hint from http://forums.mozillazine.org/viewtopic.php?f=38&t=565656#p2962250
When i tried disabling addons one by one, the issue disappeared after I disable TMP & re-appeared after enabling it.
downgrading it to 0.4.0.1 has solved the issue for now.
Really good add-on. I use this as my download manager & also recommend to others. Who needs other (pirated) download managers when you have a free dta, within Firefox itself.
Can you add a protocol like
It will be easy for other download addons to use your addon as download manager. (e.g. video downloaders)
