My Reviews

QuickWiki

Rated 4 out of 5 stars

While it's a wonderful and most useful addon, it doesn't work properly with FF version 29.0 and there is nowhere to report the problem.

Toolbar Autohide

A feature loved Rated 5 out of 5 stars

What a great idea!!!! It saves me from constantly adjusting the vertical scroll bar.

Many many thanks for your effort.

Sadly, this addon is outdated and it lacks update support. This and CCleaner are incompatible and mess up the layout settings.

A great app but needs more work to function properly with English Wiktionary. Links to existing words don't work and HTML garbage code is showing up in the pop-ups.

It's All Text!

A vastly superior effort! Rated 5 out of 5 stars

I can't express sufficiently what a great add-on this is. There are some detailed instructiuons for its setup for Linux & Mac on Wikipedia:

QuickWiki

Broken in Firefox v22 Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Yes, it worked fine in FF v21 but not in FF v22. Please repair Quickwiki as quickly as possible. Keyboard key combinations no longer work in FF22. When selected from the menu, it sticks, and the Wiktionary box remains open. One must open a new window of shut FF down to get rid of it.

Also, there is no other place to bring this to the attention of the developer.

QuickWiki

Great but still needs refinement Rated 4 out of 5 stars

It's a wonderful add-on for people working with words. The only shortcoming is that it cannot distinguish between words in which the first letter is capitalized and all lowercase words of Wiktionary, where both words are valid but with different meanings. A simple example of Jejune and jejune. I hope this can be refined. Many thanks.

ColorfulTabs

I like but needs one improvement Rated 3 out of 5 stars

I rated this with 3 stars, only because of a single annoyance—which is the disappearance of the tab closer [x]. It's not visible and must revert to the menu to close tab. Otherwise it's very helpful in identifying tabs.

Clear Cache

What is getting cleared??? Rated 4 out of 5 stars

I downloaded it but don't have a clue which cache does it purge. The Tab/page cache, or the overall FF web cache?? It would help to know. Thanks.

Google Disconnect

A javascript error Rated 2 out of 5 stars

Sorry for posting a bug here but I couldn't find any contact info on your website or here. The idea is excellent but I can't give an decent evaluation because the java error console reports this error constantly and interferes with my work on Wikipedia.

I am using FF 10.0.2 on Win XP SP3. Google Disconnect version 2.2.0. If you need additional info, please let me know and will gladly provide it.

This is a great and sophisticated add-on. It's highly recommend it for users who need to repeatedly enter the same data.

Developers, I salute you. It's brilliant in its simplicity and ease of use for the uninitiated and in great need. Please add a sixth star to the five below.

SpellBound

Cannot use because FF 3.5.1 is buggy Rated 5 out of 5 stars

This is a great Add on. Unfortunately, FF 3.5.1 for Windows XP keeps crashing, so I reverted to FF 2.0.20 and now I can't find an older version of Spellbound to go with it. Can anyone help?

Thanks

TrackMeNot

Rated 5 out of 5 stars

I was too optimistic. TMN only works for about two days and then it's disabled by Windows XP/FF 3.5.1. Also, v3.5.1 crashes a lot. :-(

FF3.5.1 and TMN v0.6.2a Rated 5 out of 5 stars

There is a corrected update v0.6.2a available on the TrackmeNot web site. I installed it and using it for the past hour and it seems to work fine in FF 3.5.1 for Windows.

FF3.5.1 and v1.6.2 are not compatible Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Sadly, this great extension (v1.6.2) doesn't work with FF 3.5.1. I have the same problems as all previous comments. Middle click will not open a new tab for the selected URL. Did I miss the solution? v1.6.1 is no longer available for download and I don't have a copy of it. I post this here because the 'support section' link doesn't work.
