Like the last reviewer said... it does what it's supposed to do, but it would be better if the page opened next to the current tab, and switched to it. A version for the search engine bar would be awesome as well. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (0.3).
Always part of my FF installs. Very useful. However, I wish you could do a version of this for spanish.dictionary.com as well.
Always a part of my FF installs. And if you have any problem with ads on the site, well, that's what AdblockPlus is for, no? :-/
Always a part of my Firefox installs.
...and good riddance. Love not only the way it makes FF look unique once again, but having the old functions restored. I use FF on my desktop PC with a mouse... and a kb. No touchscreen. I know, shocking. I don't want FF to look like just another smartphone app, and even less like an uninspired Chrome clone. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (1.2.2).
Thanks for giving the users yet another way to kill Australis. :)This review is for a previous version of the add-on (1.4.1).
Works as advertised so far, and has saved my tab groups each and every time. Won't install FF without it.This review is for a previous version of the add-on (0.8.1.3).
Even if it can be a thankless job, judging from the overwhelming sense of entitlement and self-centeredness from some in the community, that is not (I hope) the opinion of the majority here. Your design has not only made FF more aesthetically pleasant for me; the dark theme has also been a relief for my old, tired eyes.
NOW I will update FF to its hamburgerfied version. I can always go back to Pale Moon and the old NNL version anyway... :)
It's a pity this is no longer being developed, since it's far more useful than the official spammy toolbar which my NOD32 has never liked. I still have it installed and use it daily. This user has a previous review of this add-on.
I will not upgrade from FF28 until the new NNL is available. Simple as that. That's how much I love the aesthetics of this theme. The only things that keep me tied to FF are the addons and this theme. I'll use Pale Moon in the meantime. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (0.6.20140217). Since Flash Video Downloader removed the YT download function recently, I searched for a better solution, and found 1Click. Very happy with it's YT performance. Would've switched sooner had I known.
I agree about what mizzmona said, below. There are a LOT of popular add-ons that automatically open tabs to their websites once updated (Firebug, FlashGot, NoScript, etc.). Never bothered me. It's just *once* after each update, for crying out loud.
Very useful to archive videos in a format other than FLV.
I haven't been spammed by this addon in all the time I've used it (more than a year). The only times I can remember seeing noticeable ads is when the addon is updated, as it opens a page to their Website, describing the nature of the update, and some ads related to their other products.
Giving this working, free, and frequently updated addon one star simply because they cannot tolerate even one such ad is irresponsible, rude, self-centered, not to mention ungrateful. Code your own addon if you find their mild self-promotion so offensive.
Love it, and use it as my current TB theme. One suggestion: maybe it's just me and my old, tired eyes, but I'd wish unread messages were highlighted even stronger, since the bold type doesn't help to differentiate them much from read messages (at least to me). Not a deal-breaker, though. :)This review is for a previous version of the add-on (188.8.131.52).
ROTFL about the lens flare comment in the gallery. :) This is my favorite theme, hands down. If Personas are stickers from a Happy Meal, NASA night Launch is a slick, limited-print, signed lithograph. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (0.6.20110630).
Loved it a lot. Who doesn't love the Swedish Chef, anyway? A pity it's not compatible with TB 3.0.4 (which is why I'm only giving it a 3). I'll miss it. :(
Extremely useful, thanks for making this add-on. Do you think you could add a link to the "IMVU Submitted Virtual Goods Rating Policy" page as well in a future version? (Unless it's already there and I have not sen it yet.)This review is for a previous version of the add-on (1.15).
Definitely my new favorite TB theme. Although I favor (well thought-out) dark themes since they give me less eye strain, I find the use of light greys in Silvermel quite soothing. Good job.
The icons are good, but I wonder if the theme would look even better with another set (not a deal-breaker for me, though).
Would love to see a "Jetmel" or "Obsidianmel" version of this theme... in other words a dark theme, since the few existing TB dark themes are not very attractive IMHO (although Cutebird, which was my default theme until I discovered Silvermel, comes close to that ideal more or less).
Thanks for this wonderful tool. It was a "permanent" fixture of my FF2 installation. Now that I switched to FF3 I am using the beta version and, so far, has worked very well. :)This review is for a previous version of the add-on (5.3.1).
Great extension. I switched to FF3, however, and will definitely miss it.This review is for a previous version of the add-on (2.5.03).
Thanks, it worked perfectly in FF2. I hope you can update it to FF3.This review is for a previous version of the add-on (0.43).
