I read a bunch of web comics and other sites daily so when I found Morning Coffee some years ago I was really happy. Then I switched to Chrome as my primary and found the equivalent, Daily Links. Now I'm sort of switching back to Firefox and rediscovering that management of the links in Morning Coffee is a pain.
Rather the Daily Links system of add a link and then check the boxes for the days you want that link to open Morning Coffee makes you add the link to each day. Got a M-F webcomic? You'll have to add the link to Morning Coffee five times.
Please, someone fix this.
PS. I just found the "Add to..." on the MC button and that does simplify adding the link and covers 90% of my complaint. I still think that the links should be managed by link rather than by day as changing and existing link to different days would be a pain.
I used to love this add-on until a Firefox upgrade broke it. I finally reinstalled it but now I often get "null" instead of the URL. Not so useful. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (0.9.0).
It lasted about 10 minutes before I uninstalled it. It forces the sidebar to the right and I hate that. It also didn't start with ALT-Q and the button wasn't obvious at first. I disliked that it added the button to the bar without asking or telling me and that there are no options available (like sidebar on left/right) and that the button didn't show up in the "customize toolbar dialog" (possibly because it was already there without telling me)".
The sidebar being on stuck on the right was the deal breaker.
Worked okay but I was only using it because CopyAllURLs was broken. Now that's been updated for 3.5.2 so that's what I'm using.
Replaces Drag de Go (which isn't FF3 compatible) and seems to do what I want. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (1.1.2).
Drag de Go was great but it tried a little too hard. I didn't care which direction I dragged something. If it's text, search, if a URL open it, if it's anything else I clicked the wrong place.
