Wildly easy 5 stars Rated 5 out of 5 stars
I love this addon. It's easily one of the best I've encountered.
If I could just make one request, however, it would be to add the ability to resize columns. This would put the app over the top.
Stopped working just recently Rated 1 out of 5 stars
Either Facebook Adblock is incompatible with Firefox 48 or Facebook has made strides to circumvent this tool and succeeded. Either way, it's time to have a look to see what's going on.
I've used this tool happily for quite a while--maybe a year? Possibly two years. Don't know. Time flies. I should have come by and given it five stars while it worked, but I didn't because life gets in the way.
But though I'm giving it one star now, once you get this up and running properly again, I'll come back and adjust the rating to 5 stars (if it lets me). I'll be happy to do that.
Functionality is unclear Rated 3 out of 5 stars
I was looking for an addon that would allow me to open many tabs (hundreds) without loading the page so I can mine the URLs for data using interface macros. This utility only stops all currently loading web pages from loading. I already have this functionality through the addon called "Load Tab on Select."
The description of this addon could be cleaned up some so that it is clear that clicking stop only stops pages that are currently loading from working, it does not prevent new tabs from loading. I'm looking for a tool that will let me open tabs and only load the page when I want it to load.
Does not seem to work in 36.0.4 Rated 1 out of 5 stars
The options window is pretty garbled, with lists not showing or selectable, so it's impossible to use any of the list-based options. The one reason I installed this, to revert to last-used tab when current tab is closed, also doesn't work at all. Thumbs down.
This is very useful, but... Rated 3 out of 5 stars
It would be ideal if I could set the browser to a specific setting for all sites, like "Desktop Firefox", but set certain sites--Facebook for instance--to use a particular setting, like "Default" or "Android (Tablet)". It's a nuisance having to adjust the setting all the time manually depending on the site I'm visiting.
I'm using the Firefox Nightly Build--Always updated to the current day. The current release, Beta, and Aurora all turned out to be crap on the TF201. But Nightly turned out to work wonderfully and with unexpected stability for an Alpha release. Phony works great on Nightly, it just seems like an obvious functionality is missing, as described above.
This addon causes the "Send" buttons to disappear from a site I use Rated 2 out of 5 stars
I installed this strictly for the purpose of using it at AllPoetry.com, where I critique poems posted by numerous people. It actually works for this, and very well. However, while this addon is enabled I am unable to use the Instant Messenger functionality at the site. So if someone sends me an IM, I have to disable this addon in order to reply, and then reenable it in order to use it for critiquing posts. Pretty annoying.
If not for this, I would give it five stars and send a donation.
