I liked stumble upon. A good idea. But StumbleUpon is near dead whether you know it or not. Many users warned them about it, but I guess quantity wins against quality once again (although they could win both).
@proxim2020 is right, stumble upon isn't what it was a year ago. Google have been making the same mistakes recently, giving less customization options and orienting users in a certain way by using the illusion of "graphical pleasantness" and "choice". Man, it looks like 2000s vs 2010s will be worse than 70s vs 80s (80s vs more-crappy-80s, maybe?).
I'm leaving SU, too, until they get it together. But SU has a big potential, it was great once. It can achieve this again, by not-regarding its users as products.
Firefox sometimes screws it up when it comes to customizability and "letting users to choose", just like google always screws up. Fortunately, add-ons like this gives our same-old firefox flexibility back. I hate this new era of so called "simplicity", it's more like the era of idiocracy. Well, enough for that. This add-on makes firefox more appealing (at least for older users, ha?).This review is for a previous version of the add-on (2012.01.14.17).
IE Tab lets you use ie when you need to, within your favorite browser (what!? your favorite is ie? ah, you got me.). It's doing what it's supposed to, and it even lets you define urls that will always be opened by ie tab. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (18.104.22.168.2).
I was not aware of the power of this add-on until a year ago. It even makes customizing certain websites possible, such as google images. But one should be precautionary before installing scripts from "shady" web pages. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (0.9.18).
It's unbelievable how mozilla can't manage to add a decent download manager to firefox. Then again, you know you're using firefox when you're able to do things the way you want to do thanks to add-ons. Thank you for this simple yet powerful add-on.
This add-on is a must if you hate those impertinent, irritating ads and if you want to speed up your surfing experience. You can add your own custom filters and set rules as you see fit. Great, great add-on.This review is for a previous version of the add-on (2.0.3).
A handy, detailed, fully customizable add-on. A firefox prerequisite. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (0.4.0).
A great add-on. But it has some flaws in my opinion. First, you should be able to resize the window once it's opened, and you should be able to scroll down within this window without the necessity of scrolling down the browser window. Second, you should be able to pin this window (a whole optional sidebar dedicated to quickwiki, maybe?). Thanks for the add-on, it's very useful. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (1.0.3).
