This used to be a must-have for FF but now it is simply broken. Clicking on a .pdf link now simply opens a BLANK TAB, displaying nothing. This hasn't been updated in forever so don't even bother.
DO NOT USE THIS PLUG-IN!
When attempting to open a PDF from a URL link from another program, a blank new tab is opened with nothing further. Intermittently, this happens while attempting to open a URL link within Firefox itself too. There is no URL in the address bar, just a blank page. Disabling the 'PDF Download' plugin restores the function and opening PDF's from links works normally. Fix it and I'll reinstall... was a great plugin but now it's only so-so.
I've been using this plug-in since inception and this is the first time that I've had issue with it. Firefox Nightly (64bit) new install and I was unable to close some tabs and cursor mapping was also a bit off from the norm with regards to trying to select the "X" for closing the tab. The Dev was quick to respond with the solution and I am once again able to use the plug-in. Nice work... Thanks! This review is for a previous version of the add-on (0.4.0.4).
Installed on both my Windows and Linux [SUSE 11.4] machines, works quite well. Thanks! This review is for a previous version of the add-on (1.3).
