Thank you for the work you have put in keyword search.
It works more reliable than keyword.URL Hack! and is easier to set up.
Great for Netflix with pipelight on Linux!
(Positive: Gets you to the html5 webm version, if there is one. Negative: Breaks the back button.)
UPDATE: Version 0.6 is awesome! Back button works. HD option (opt-in) is great.
The search functionality in Firefox 23 is horrible - I guess they want to change it even more in future releases.
Thank you for this addon!
Make sure to recreate keyword.URL in about:config if it has been deleted while upgrading.
Don't forget: The "URL" in "keyword.URL" has to be UPPERCASE!
Germans might use one of these for keyword.URL
Have been using it for years. It was good in the beginning and has improved over time.
I've read news in the last days and think the reporting over Adblock Plus of some sites haven't been fair , because Adblock openly stated on their website (it wasn't hard to find when I took a look there ~a year ago) that they were introducing opt-out for uninstrusive ads and that they might even take money for whitelisting. While I don't like the idea of taking money for whitelisting they openly stated that they might do this - so I don't see any kind of well-reasoned outrage here.
Thank you for making this available for Firefox!
I guess it's enough to have this addon installed and enabled to have it work and one doesn't need to add the badge to the UI?
Version 1.0.7 works great.
But on addons.mozilla.org the newest version ist still 1.0.4 and it's even not yet approved by Mozilla. What's going on?
This user has a previous review of this add-on.
Very useful if you come across about about:config from time to time. Should definitely get integrated into firefox by default.
Please integrate this into Firefox. It's no fun not having it. Very useful, especially because it just integrates great with search engines that are already set up.This review is for a previous version of the add-on (0.4.6).
Very useful addon, used for years even though it was a hassle to set it up the way I wanted. Context search ( https://addons.mozilla.org/de/firefox/addon/context-search/ ) is much better.
Anyway thank your for your addon.
I do have "Hide Caption Titlebar Plus 2.6.0" installed - but can't update to the newest version. Why?This review is for a previous version of the add-on (2.7.2). This user has a previous review of this add-on.
If you want to get an @ on a Germany layout you have to press "Alt Gr"+"Q". I just wanted to get this character onto the screen but accidentally hit "Control" instead of "Alt Gr"... omgThis user has a previous review of this add-on.

Great especially for people who want to get rid of the titlebar in linux like it's possible in windows (tabs ton top).
One thing that I still can't get right: True Fullscreen whilst watching html5 youtube videos. There's still the "Firefox" and "minimise, maximize, close" button.
Vertical bookmarks broken in FF15? No Problem!
Deinstall "Vertical bookmarks toolbar" and install "Vertical Toolbar 0.3" (or higher).
You can find the newest versions of Vertical Toolbar here:
Just drag the "Bookmarks Toolbar Items" into the vertical bar.
EDIT: All thanks to Gomita. He's the guy who fulfilled our wish. :)
This addon in combination with Vertical Bookmarks Toolbar made it possible to get the bookmarks into a vertical bar.
Unfortunately Vertical Bookmarks Toolbar is broken on FF15 and the author doesn't want to maintain it any longer.
Maybe someone else would like to maintain it?
UPDATE: Thank you Gomita. I really like it the way it works now. You're the best! :-)
Because I do not need this extension, I cannot maintain it anymore.
Pls abandon this extension."
Broken in Firefox 15.
Updated Firefox and Vertical Bookmarks Toolbar broke.
Very useful addon. Try it.
Flaws & Improvements:
- Does not work properly if flash content is on the site. For example the addon disappears under Youtube Videos.
- "Activate when dragging images" and "Active when dragging links" should imho be disabled by default.
- No button to reset all the chosen search engines.
