Have you used it with the Beta version? Have you used it with Fire Gestures? Set it up to where drawing up closes tabs, then close a bunch of tabs. It works fine for awhile, but every now and then it messes up and has some kind of graphical glitch or something. All I know is since I've uninstalled it, it hasn't happened. I wish I took a screenshot of it, but I didn't. I might have to re-install it to show you what I mean, but it's a really random thing. This user has 6 previous reviews of this add-on.
I had to un-install it. Too many graphical bugs pop-up from time to time. Glad it's back from the dead, but it still needs work. It's hard to describe what I mean, but little UI issues pop-up from time to time. It could have something to do with using FireGestures with it, or some other extension. It seems the issue is with the re-drawing of the screen when closing tabs. It only seems to happen once in awhile, so it's hard to re-create. Basically, the Tabs UI becomes distorted. It overlaps onto itself. The only way to fix it is to restart Firefox. I am using Firefox 36 Beta 9, so maybe it being Beta has something to do with it. I don't have this issue with TabGroups Helper, though. This user has other reviews of this add-on.
Thanks for replying again, but that code is not working for larger fonts on the right click move to group menu. Also, one last thing: Do you have a user style for the TabGroups Menu menu bar that is in the title bar? The one that pops up when you press alt. I would like a larger and bold font for that whole menu. The one that says file, edit, view, history, bookmarks, etc. I'd really appreciate it! Thanks!!This user has other reviews of this add-on.
Thanks for the code, developer. It's way better with just that small change!! Do you know of a user style code for the right click move to group menu as well? Thanks again!!This review is for a previous version of the add-on (0.9.5). This user has other reviews of this add-on.
I second that! This is the best extension to replace the long dead TabGroups Menu. Once you add the TabGroups Helper toolbar icon to the toolbar, it's very similar. It's missing one critical feature, though. You should add little clickable x's to close tabs and tab groups within the Tabs Helper menu, or at least give us the option to middle click and close open tabs that way. Also, I'd like an option to make the text size bigger on tab groups names and the tab's title texts as well. An almost perfect extension. Just needs some little enhancements. Great job!!This review is for a previous version of the add-on (0.1.8).
Can some smart programmer out there please revive this great program? My main issue right now seems to be related to the graphical interface. Upon starting Firefox 33 Beta 7, there are some graphical glitches where the blue color from the tab bar bleeds into the icons on the bookmarks toolbar. This doesn't happen with the extension disabled. Needs to be updated and tweaked a little to work better with Firefox 33+. Please save it! It'd also like a toolbar button for quick switching to Tab Groups, which was in the dead extension, Tab Group Switcher. There's already a shortcut key for this. It's control+~, but it would be great to have a toolbar button for it!!This review is for a previous version of the add-on (0.9.1). This user has other reviews of this add-on.
I'm uninstalling this until a new version comes out that gives us the option to sort our tab groups in alphabetical order, or the manual option to re-arrange the tab groups. Great work getting it started, but it really needs to be refined. I hope you keep it updated. This user has 2 previous reviews of this add-on.
Please update this!! At least add the ability to re-organize the tab groups. That means moving them manually in the order we choose by left clicking and dragging them, and/or you could add an option to right click and select an option to put them in alphabetical order. That would be great and hopefully not too hard to implement. Thanks!!This user has other reviews of this add-on.
This is a great extension that is very similar to the now defunct, TabGroups Manager, which is definitely a good thing. I hope you continue to keep it updated. Obviously, the main thing it is missing is the ability to drag and drop tabs between groups, which I am sure you are working on. The other thing is a tab counter on each tab group. That would be nice to have. It would also be great if we could organize the tab groups by alphabetical order, or just be able to manually move them. So close to perfection!! It's even working with the latest Nightly UX 31.0a1! Thanks!!This review is for a previous version of the add-on (1.2).
I wish it worked with the latest Firefox UX Nightly 30 release. You can easily get back the status bar using the dev version of Status-4-Evar, so I thought the creator of NoSquint would've released a new version that works with Australis by now. This user has 3 previous reviews of this add-on.
This seems like a new and useful extension, but I would really appreciate it if you could add one more button to it. I really want a toolbar button that allows one click switching to different tab groups. Each click should cycle through the open tab groups. Use the now dead extension TabGroup Switcher to understand what I mean. Please add that button!! Thanks!
This extension is as dead as Michael Jackson. Just use TabGroups Menu instead. This user has 8 previous reviews of this add-on.
Please release a new version that works with Australis (Nightly 28). If you use the alpha version of Status-4-Evar, the add-on bar will work again, which means you should be able to make NoSquint work again, right? I hope so! Buttons can be placed there. I have AdBlock there. Thanks for a great extension! This user has other reviews of this add-on.
Thanks for making the alpha version that works with Australis! It's working great! I just wish there was a way to keep Firefox's download button on the top toolbar and have my downloads pop-up on the top toolbar while showing time remaining on my download at the bottom on the add-on bar, but apparently that's not possible. Please add download speed to the download text if possible. Thanks! This review is for a previous version of the add-on (2013.10.31.22). This user has 7 previous reviews of this add-on.
I know it will NEVER happen, but I wish this would get updated! All it really needs is an auto-sort option to put the Tab Groups in alphabetical order. If not an update, a standalone extension for the Next Tab Group button would be really helpful! Are you out there, developer? Update this! It can't be that hard to do one of the two things I have requested, can it? Thanks! This user has a previous review of this add-on.
Working great with Australis so far! Thanks!! I uninstalled TabGroups Manager. Maybe that was causing the issues. Thanks again for updating it!!This review is for a previous version of the add-on (0.24.6.1). This user has 11 previous reviews of this add-on.
I had to uninstall this because of issues with Australis. I hope you guys update it soon to work with Australis. I mean it works sort of, but there are issues that make it hard to use. Tabs disappear and stuff. Release it with full Australis compatibility please! Thanks!!This user has other reviews of this add-on.
If anyone knows how to get this to work with Australis (Nightly 28), let me know. Thanks! I can't believe I got Status-4-Evar to work with Australis, but NoSquint isn't showing up on the newly restored add-on bar. Please update this for Australis! This user has other reviews of this add-on.
There is also a bug where a new blank tab keeps getting added to my tab groups and I can't close it. Could be a bug with your extension and/or TabGroups Manager. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (0.24.6). This user has other reviews of this add-on.
Is this new beta ever going to be released? I have my doubts. There are still some annoying bugs like the overlapping menus that need to be fixed. So close, yet so far. Please update it soon! Thanks for keeping it alive! I think a cool new feature you should add would be the ability to have different colors for different tab groups. Like the text could be green for Mozilla sites, red for ESPN and sports. Just some way for the tab groups to stand out. The user should be able to right click and choose a text color. This user has other reviews of this add-on.
