dotjs

Smooth Clean Fast Smart Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Well with this add-on you don't need to waste time on "getting a master" on it.
I mean you don't need to set any configuration at all.
You don't need to learn something else.

You just create one folder and you are already doing your job with Js (and CSS too!!).

No waste of memory with slow GUI, you just use your favorite editor.
I searched among all the Js collection and this is the one!

To the author:
I suggest the author to consider to modify the "About this Add-on" overview.
I examined the entire JS Collection 3 times(25 addons at the moment!).
And lucky desperate me, only the third time I noticed that dotjs of course can apply code to every page that you visit.
It is important to know it at first glance.
Instead I used to stop reading at the end of " based on their filename and the domain of the site you are visiting."
This addon deserves to be known! Great job.
Happy to donate to you!
Thanks a lot

Subtitles Timeline

Powerfull and reliable!!! Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Amazing addon! I'm enjoing it since about 1 year.
I've got it on both my Operative Systems (Linux Ubuntu and Windows7) and it works perfectly!!
The author provides quick and regular upgrades (due to the changings that Firefox brings with) and improvements.
In my opinion here its powerfull:
1) you can enjoy a movie in foreign language with
related subtitles in the same foreign language (I think this is the best way, to improve the learning of a foreign language stayng at home) and when you meet an unknown word , you can have (with the addon Firelang installed, created by the same author) the translation on the fly !! No distraction, no paper, no typing: simply you put the cursor of the mouse over the unkown word and in real time you get the translation!!! Amazing!!

2) I primarily watch foreign movies in streaming.
When you watch off-browser a movie with subtitles using your preferred external player (like VLC, SMPlayer, MPlayer and so on) , clearly you can't have the translation on the fly, but in addiction you can't:
- putting in Pause over 4-5 secs
- going Forward or Backward, not even of 1 sec
If you do it: you get the streaming-connection lost !!
Instead watching the movie with SubtitlesTimeline,
you can do all this above, and the
streaming-connection is always on!!

A lot of thanks to the author.
