Breaks private session on FF4 Rated 4 out of 5 stars
I'd love to learn how to use this since I love vim, but in addition to turning ctrl+shift+p into lose all of your non-pinned tabs and not even go into private browsing, it also messes with the string that is put into a new tab address bar since I have new tab jumpstart. Please test before marking as compatible...
Edit: found where they went - you just moved into another tab group, so I didn't lose everything. Is overwriting Ctrl firefox shortcuts the norm in vim? I also suppose if I really started using this, I would get rid of all of my mousing shortcuts like gestures and the new tab jumpstart page...
Great! but still too many prompts... Rated 4 out of 5 stars
I LOVE this addon, but it's still not quite there yet. Just a few tweaks and it would be sublime.
First, is there a combination of settings to only ask for your master password on startup and then never again until you re-lock it manually or close and start Firefox again? As it is, I have to enter it twice every time. This I think is the use that most people who download this addon are wishing.
Once the "Don't display this... for _ hours" check mark is checked, it would be nice if that stayed checked for the next time, but it wouldn't matter if the above was possible.
Also, I think the default behavior should be: disable auto-everything, block duplicate prompts, ask for pass on startup, if cancel exit, just show in status bar. Can't wait for Firefox Sync for Addons.
USE A MASTER PASSWORD! Rated 5 out of 5 stars
Use a master so that your passwords aren't stored as plaintext on your computer! Once you type it in (best with startupmaster extension), all works as advertised. IMO firefox should require all users to set a master password for security anyway.
Then I simply set it up so that a few of my computers have a different bookmark toolbar and this extension is golden. Then with cybersearch, download statusbar, flashgot, and the google toolbar, firefox is functionally superior to chrome.
