BarTab 2.0 was automatically disabled by FF4.0 under Vista, but it upgraded and worked just fine for me under XP. This add-on is a life-saver for people on dial-up as FF insists upon reloading all tabs when restarting. FF4 improves the situation by reloading only a few at a time rather than all of them at once, but BarTab simply solves the problem by preventing this reloading altogether. This also makes FF start up much faster. I want to thank the author for their work on this add-on and encourage continued development of BarTab!! It's one of those seemingly minor add-ons that I just can't do without.
Wish list: I'd love a "Reload from cache" feature, but I suspect that it's too much to ask as browsers apparently can't do that anymore in a script-based world. Opera has long had such a feature and it once worked very well, but not even it can do it these days. Virtually zero web sites will allow you to review their content while offline, even though users like me cannot possibly be connected to the internet 24/7 as we are restricted to dial-up.
