Working fine.

Memory Fox

I think pro (.exe) version removal has to do with this

"Memory Fox's purported Memory leak and freeing capabilities are a lie. Memory Fox uses a standard windows function to flush the process's memory to the page file..."

BarTab Heavy

Rated 5 out of 5 stars

For those of you receiving an error on preferences dialog, all localized languages lacks some strings from en-US locale, and that's causing the error. Languages affected are: German, Spanish, French, Japanese, Polish and Russian. I've made a version repairing this (except doing the translation for that newly added strings in the various locales languages):

Hazon, I know you're active, you've posted some reviews very recently. I know you don't want to maintain this extension, just make it public here, and that's why you didn't leave a contact email... but at least publish it right, and let people send you new locales o locale updates for you to add them.

History disable button

Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Working for me on Firefox 38.0a1. Also it's the only one of its kind I know about.

Not the best option to cover your browsing, in my opinion, for that, Firefox private browsing mode is far better, and also you don't have to explain why you have something like this extension installed, if someone investigates.

Instead, it's great when you are checking/visiting sites from history list, and you don't want to alter history order (e.g. if you sort history by time, like 'last visited' or 'date visited') to keep information about when was that site you're visiting from history, last accessed casually (not from history).

Toggle Document Fonts

Rated 5 out of 5 stars

A must have for users who force own font type selection for pages instead of website defined font type, as many websites use font types with special signs for certain icon buttons, otherwise not showing correctly. For example Twitter or GitHub.

This addon lets you force your preferred font type for normal web browsing while allowing to quickly switch to website defined fonts to avoid specific sites annoyances, not breaking browsing experience. Absolutely great.

Should be part of Firefox, it's an essential browsing feature.

Restart My Fox

Not all of its kind have a clear cache option, various locales, and an elegant distinctive icon. But lacks shortcut.

This review is for a previous version of the add-on (1.0.9).

Restart Extension

Rated 3 out of 5 stars

Needs update.Still works on FF 38.0a1 if you modify maxversion into install.rdf, but shows persistent buggy buttons at the bottom right edge of the window.
It's quite significant the option to exit maintaining tabs for next start, which is the only addon I know with it along with ExtEMM, but lacks keyboard shortcuts. Also icons are improvable.

Hide Find Bar

Urge an update Rated 3 out of 5 stars

It's not working on FF 26 and FF 27 (current nightly) with the new find bar.

Otherwise this is a great extension for previous versions.

HideTab

Rated 4 out of 5 stars

Really good extension, the only one of its kind if I'm not wrong. However I found one problem and have a suggestion:

- Problem: Using FF 24.0a1 32-bit for windows, I've found that when there's tabs overflow in the tab bar (tabs scroll buttons), and I hide one of the pinned tabs, the tab scroll area (tab browser) don't reclaim the spare space the pinned hidden tab left behind.

- Suggestion: I see the extension uses a [style="diplay: none;"] attribute on hidden tabs DOM nodes, and that's the only way to select them in CSS; also the hidding method used makes CSS unable to apply certain rules to them.
I suggest you to add an optional working mode that makes hidden tabs manageable through CSS, I suggest the hidding method may be "visibility: collapse;", at least that's what I've succesfully used here http://userstyles.org/styles/86347/tab-bar-buttons-elements for my purposes; I also suggest to add an attribute for that mode to allow hidden tabs selection in a node high in the DOM tree, may be"#main-window[hiddentab]" or "#main-window[hiddentab="true"]" or something similar, and perhaps also another similar one for each of the hidden tabs nodes themselves, but I think the former would be clearly more useful.

Thanks in advance. Gracias.

Hide Tab Bar With One Tab

What are mozilla developers thinking on? Changes and more changes where there's no need of them.

Working fine (FF 23.0a1 32-bit on win). Thx buddy.

Addons Quick Search

Very quick, no bloat. Should be part of the Addon Manager.

This review is for a previous version of the add-on (0.1.0.1).

Show Anchors 2

Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Great fork. This extension is extremely useful for linking, bookmarking or emailing links to a specific part of a web page.

It solves all major issues for FF 4 and upper versions in the original addon. However I found one mild annoyance, if addon bar icon is used to show or hide anchors on a tab, the icon keeps showing the state of the last change, no matter the state the current tab has when you move throught different tabs in that window, it doesn't update the addon bar icon state (only the icon) on tab change.

(FF 23.0a1 nightly 32-bit on win)

@Michael Scheper click the anchor icons displayed to show the anchors links context menu options.

Hide Caption Titlebar Plus

Fix for misaligned Min-Max-Close buttons and some others Rated 4 out of 5 stars

This is a great extension for saving vertical space on screen, and styling. A must have for laptop screens, especially used along with Tiny Menu or other menu shrinking addons.

Since 2.7.1 version the major issues caused by the changes in the browser UI after FF 12.0a1, has been solved. The only thing still around is making Min-Max-Close buttons to act as part of the upper bars, especially for fullscreen, but the solution provided is satisfactory. Also it seems the impact on the performance of the browser has been reduced, and the issue of the occasionally appearing buggy double upper bar has vanished.

Anyway if you still use (or actually get) the system buttons preference with the latests HCTP versions you may be still getting Min-Max-Close buttons misalignments problems (began with 2.6.0), I've made a userstyle to solve this, and also included some other small fixes (Stylish needed):

http://userstyles.org/styles/66071/hctp-titlebar-button-box-fix

This extension should be part of FF, or at least FF developers should pave the way for his author, to achieve the smooth integration this extension deserves to be absolutely great.

(FF 21.0a1 32-bit on win)

To 1nvisibleMan:
You can achieve that with Stylish, create a new style in Addon Manager/Styles with the following lines (or add the second line to ..\your_FF_profile\userchrome.css):

@namespace url(http://www.mozilla.org/keymaster/gatekeeper/there.is.only.xul);
#hcp-web-title-label-stbar{font-weight: normal !important}

lget

Rated 4 out of 5 stars

Great extension for downloading files from URLs that trigger an action and don't allow direct donwload, e.g. some .xpi firefox extensions on some sites. A perfect companion for HTTP header monitor tools.

What I don't like is how the history feature is built... I mean, it's a parallel download history to the one of the browser itself, but this is not clearly explained to the user, also the extension has no interface to access it (appart from clearing it), and as long as now it resides in lget.sqlite file and not in a text file (as it seems it did, like other reviews say) proper tools are needed to access it (SQLite Manager for example). As review of Haudy Kazemi points bellow, the fact that new history is not bound to the Clear History function of FF is a mayor drawback... fortunately the whole feature can be disabled. Also the keyboard shortcut it uses CTRL+E hijacks the one of FF to focus the search bar, but CTRL+K can still be used anyway.

Alternatively you can use Clipboard-Save-As extension, which support this extension main function with a minimal interface, that don't include a dialog to edit the URL on the clipboard, so it has to be well formed before copy (what may require a rapid previous edit in a editable space like the search bar or the adress bar for example).
