In a little more detail...

Hi, I decided to test the nightly builds of Firefox, called Minefield. Version is 3.7a2pre.

My Reviews

CookieSwap

works like expected and like a charm Rated 5 out of 5 stars

except the suggestions I already saw at previous comments (profile per tab, etc) I've got one additional suggestion;

Please make it possible to move the switch button. I cannot hide the statusbar without removing the cookieswitcher :(

This review is for a previous version of the add-on (0.5.284).

Tab Progress Bar

Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Even though compatibility is just going until 3.7a3, it worked until Minefield v4b7, but v4b8 has a new loading animation, which makes your addon completely nonfunctional.
Sadly "Updated: November 3, 2009". Don't let this one die!

Firefox Throttle

Rated 4 out of 5 stars

The throttling works fine for me on Firefox 3.6.8, but the bandwidth utilisation does not display the numbers (just see the arrows). Could be cause of my all-glass firefox (also had problems with foxytunes, etc).
Thing is, there is no way to hide it. I just want the clickable icon in the statusbar, without the additional info. It's either all info with icon, or not at all :(
Additionally, even better, a toolbar button which also indicates the status of the limiter would be awesome.

Fission

Rated 4 out of 5 stars

Also not compatible with Minefield 4.0 Beta 3.
The functionality it had with Firefox 3.6.x is not given anymore. Pretty sad, since with addon the statusbar is obsolete for me (and probably for pretty much other people, too)

ImgLikeOpera

works for 3.6 and up, too Rated 5 out of 5 stars

I am using 3.7a2pre todays build, and it works fine!
for everyone shouting for 3.6 support:
just override the compatibility, either editing the install.rdf file or with an addon.
Worked fine for me.

This addon also adds a toggle to load all images/load no images/cached images only/just for actual site.

Useful if you are on a slow connection or surfing using a proxy or the Tor network.

This review is for a previous version of the add-on (0.6.18).

Save Session

Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Weird, I am using the latest build,
Minefield 3.7a2pre build 20100226035959, and it works fine.
Firefox allows you to save your session everytime you close firefox, and restore it if you start again.

If you just want to save the session to quickly update the the new build (there is almost every day a new one available), and continue surfing where you stopped this is fine.
For me, the home page should be the main start up page, where I begin my "journey".

So either I need to enable/disable session storing on the options dialogue every time I update, or need to save my session in a bookmarks folder every time.
Using that button reduces 3 clicks, one keyboard input, and one drag+drop action (storing a bookmark folder)
or 5 clicks (enable/disable session storing) plus one click to close,
to one click (save session and close).
Makes it way faster, and exactly like I expected and hoped.

Thanks
