My Reviews

Locationbar²

One of my favorite extensions using for years. Sad to see it go Rated 5 out of 5 stars

I have been using Locationbar² since way back to Firefox version 2. The bold & colored domain name with breadcrumbs made the address bar look cooler. Now I finally encounter compatibility issues in version 44 and must remove it. It's been a good ride (close to 10 years already?) and I'll miss it. Great extensions come and go.

Tile Tabs

Downgrading to version 12.9.1 fixes the address bar focus issue Rated 5 out of 5 stars

I thought the new Firefox update was causing the address bar not to be focused when openning a new tab. Disabling extensions one by one, I found Tile Tabs to be the culprit. Downgrading Tile Tabs to version 12.9.1 fixes the address bar focus issue for now and I'm very happy with it.

This review is for a previous version of the add-on (13.1).

Switch to Tab no more

Thank You! Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Thanks! An annoyance gone away! The "switch to tab" feature interferes with me searching on the address bar using the Omnibar extension. If the first letter I type matches any title from the current tabs, it'll turn to an H (from 'http' autocomplete) after typing the second letter and then I have to retype it again on the search engine.

Awesome Rated 5 out of 5 stars

I love it. Saves me the time and trouble in stumbling into bad videos. I can't view YouTube pages without it.

Tab Mix Plus

Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Works with 3.0.1. Edit the maxver value in the install.rdf in the XPI file from 3.1 to 3.*

Paste and Go 2

Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Very useful add-on. Needed for paste and go and paste and search. Works fine on Firefox 3 with no bugs (that I'm aware of). Just change the maxversion in the install.rdf in the XPI file.

This review is for a previous version of the add-on (0.8).

Titlebar Tweaks

Firefox 3 Rated 5 out of 5 stars

To make it work with Firefox 3, change the maxversion in the install.rdf in the xpi file to 3 instead of 2.

On Firefox go to File > Open file > select the xpi file and you have Titlebar Tweaks installed.

Work Offline

Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Although you can now access work offline from the file menu, I find it faster and easier to access it on the status bar.

This review is for a previous version of the add-on (1.4).

Titlebar Tweaks

Rated 5 out of 5 stars

I use this add-on to take out the " - Mozilla Firefox" part of the titlebar. It makes it look neat and tidy. At the time of typing, this is one of the few extensions that I have on Firefox 2 that doesn't [officially] work on Firefox 3.

However, it can be modified to support 3, and I find no bugs using it on Windows XP & 2003. This will have to do until an updated add-on is released.

Column Bookmarks

Rated 5 out of 5 stars

The exact extension I was looking for. Works perfectly as of 2.0.0.14.
