Thanks! An annoyance gone away! The "switch to tab" feature interferes with me searching on the address bar using the Omnibar extension. If the first letter I type matches any title from the current tabs, it'll turn to an H (from 'http' autocomplete) after typing the second letter and then I have to retype it again on the search engine. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (0.1).
I love it. Saves me the time and trouble in stumbling into bad videos. I can't view YouTube pages without it.
Works with 3.0.1. Edit the maxver value in the install.rdf in the XPI file from 3.1 to 3.*This review is for a previous version of the add-on (0.3.6).
Very useful add-on. Needed for paste and go and paste and search. Works fine on Firefox 3 with no bugs (that I'm aware of). Just change the maxversion in the install.rdf in the XPI file. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (0.8).
To make it work with Firefox 3, change the maxversion in the install.rdf in the xpi file to 3 instead of 2.
On Firefox go to File > Open file > select the xpi file and you have Titlebar Tweaks installed.
Although you can now access work offline from the file menu, I find it faster and easier to access it on the status bar. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (1.4).
I use this add-on to take out the " - Mozilla Firefox" part of the titlebar. It makes it look neat and tidy. At the time of typing, this is one of the few extensions that I have on Firefox 2 that doesn't [officially] work on Firefox 3.
However, it can be modified to support 3, and I find no bugs using it on Windows XP & 2003. This will have to do until an updated add-on is released.
The exact extension I was looking for. Works perfectly as of 22.214.171.124.
