Many thanks, the toolbar button works just fine.
If anybody else had problems with their theme after installing this extension, try installing one of the newer versions which uses a toolbar button instead. https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/207653/versions/
Great extension. Gives lots of detailed info and the option to force strong encryption is a great idea. I noticed a lot of websites were using RC4 encryption by default, even though they supported stronger algorithms.
Unfortunately, I use the TwentyTen theme, and this extension doesn't work properly with it. It shrinks the toolbar and the buttons appear squashed. https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/75906/
This add-on is great, it can check multiple Gmail accounts without saving any passwords. But there is one issue which is really bugging me:
If it fails to connect to the server for ANY reason, e.g. internet disconnects or server is down, it deletes the session cookies and requires you to login again. The cookies are still valid, they hadn't expired, but it deletes the cookies anyways.
One more thing, can you change the position of "log out of all accounts"? I've clicked this one too many times by accident.
Nice add-on, it makes Firefox a little more visually appealing. I only gave it 4 stars because the animation is still a bit choppy (might be the theme I'm using), and the sliders in the settings make no sense. Instead of sliders, I would prefer to set the animation time in milliseconds. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (1.3.0).
Cool add-on, I like that you can actually customize this one, and it works with all of the websites I tried it on.
I would like to suggest another input method for the mouse:
Go back or forward another page if the back / forward mouse buttons are held for a second or longer. The smart forward feature is nice, but it doesn't work if there's already something in the back / forward history.
If that isn't possible, then the SmartPager add-on lets you use the right button + wheel combination.
Can you make it possible to define the left click action of the bookmarks / history buttons also? I'd prefer that these opened the sidebar on left click, and showed the menu on right click.
Great extension otherwise. I love being able to customize the 'menu' button how I like.
Great add-on. But a few things:
TabberWocky interferes with Tree Style Tab. In particular, when I close a tab, it sometimes gives focus to the wrong tab.
I love the duplicate tab feature, though there's one missing feature: When I middle click the back or forward button, it doesn't preserve the tab history.
One more feature you could add is "Tab Wheel Scroll". This is an add-on in which, when the mouse cursor is over the tab bar, moving the mouse wheel up or down will focus the left or right tab.
Simply an excellent add-on. I read more about how this extension works -> Everything is encrypted on your PC before it's uploaded to the server. This means the server never knows any of your passwords, including the one you use to sign in to your account.
I use this to generate random passwords for every website. So if one password is stolen, the rest of my passwords are still secure. And since everything is backed up online, I don't have to worry about ever losing my passwords.
Since everything is securely encrypted, one feature I would love to see in the future is backup and synchronization of bookmarks.
I'd like to see better support for the Add-on "Tabs on top". Currently, it doesn't display properly if "Indent Tabs" is enabled. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (0.8.2009102801).
Sometimes, the simplest ideas are the best ideas. This extension makes tabbed browsing that much better.
Nice extension. I think Firefox looks better with the tabs up there.
There's a small issue with Tree Style Tabs. When the option 'Indent tabs' is enabled, this could cause the tabs to be cut off partially, making the text unreadable. This is because the tab bar height never changes.
Also, the latest version of Tree Style Tabs added a resizing bar to change the height of the tab bar, but it's still visible when the tabs are on top.
Great idea. I don't have to worry about losing my passwords, since it generates the same password for each website every time.
Minor issue, the little button that appears below password fields, that causes issues with a few websites, Hulu.com for example.
This might be too much to ask for, but I'd like the feature to save the closed tabs list from the previous session. I don't like using session managers, I'd prefer to have a list of tabs I had opened from the previous session. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (3.5.1).
The only thing I don't like is the blinking indicator while pages are loading. Other than that, great looking theme. Fits well with the many toolbar icons I have. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (0.8).
Amazing extension with an amazing number of toolbar buttons.
A request to the developer: Add buttons for the History menu and Bookmarks menu. I want to get rid of the file menu and replace it with a few icons, but these two buttons are missing.
The best solution for sites without RSS feeds. I've tried a couple of other extensions, including SiteDelta, but this one simply works the best.
Hehe, I can see a bug just from the screenshot. The very last word should be "scrambled", but the d is not the last letter. I'm guessing your extension thought the period was the last letter of the word, instead of the letter 'd'.This review is for a previous version of the add-on (0.5.3.1-signed).
Almost exactly what I was looking for. I check a lot of websites everyday, and this extension makes it a bit easier to figure out what I've already clicked on.
A request to the developer: When the mouse cursor isn't hovering over a link, could you show the last visit date of the current page instead? This is what I was really hoping to find in an extension, but I also like it shows the last visit time of links too.
Good extension. One request: Add a toolbar button to minimize to tray. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (1.3).
Great extension. Makes downloading from these file hosts much less of a hassle.
A request for the developer: Can you add an option to automatically close the tab once the download begins? Thanks!
