This addon is 5stars, specially with the Element Hiding Helper.
Re. last update, I had to un-install and re-install it for it to work again.
I had opened Firefox and noticed ads and that the ABP icon wasn't on the bar anymore. It wouldn't open the filter preferences from the add-on window nor change anything.
Re-installing made it work again (and it kept my settings).
Dhaval, it works fine for me. I think something may be corrupted for you.
Regarding the add-on, it does what it says. But ideally I would like one like the Google Dictionary for Google Chrome (that's really great, pop-up results instead of a new page and - a luxury - spoken word).
Current version gives some errors on console but I contacted the dev and hope he fixes it.
@Firemonkey, mine I have besides the address bar and it sticks there.
It has one or two things that can always be improved but it works very well.
I haven't coloured many sites yet but it doesn't seem to affect the browser in any negative way.
This freaking awesome add-on should be default on Firefox.
I wonder why Mozilla makes it so difficult to add custom searches in Firefox.
It's been working very well here. I've longed for long to have a lean Firefox and this helped a lot.
@anter, you need to hide the titlebar through the settings of the window manager you're using. I think Ubuntu uses compiz so dig into its settings and try and find one that undecorates Firefox's window.
The review buy the guy below is nonsense.
@nomec, get the beta version from their homepage. I installed it exactly because it has speed limiting and it works excellently.
Works great without mplayer plugin and with YT blocked.
One can use cclive from the command line or customvid from within Firefox/Iceweasel.
It's a pity what's happening here, with some kids clearly flooding/spamming this page.
If any honest person is searching for a security add-on, this one is *the best*.
I've got nothing to do with the author and the people here speaking in name of Adblock Plus (another very useful add-on, specially it's feature of rearranging the pages) should stop doing so. AB Plus has nothing to do with this, it's a problem with the author of Easylist and his 'friends'. Actually, Easylist should bother with blocking real adware/malware sites instead of fighting NoScript.
